We’ve always said we’d happily do a couple of shifts for Deliveroo, winding through busy city streets on a bicycle to get a Wicked Zinger Meal to its destination in record time. Now we may actually have the opportunity, in the distinctly tongue-in-cheek Parcel Corps, a dystopian extreme sports deliver-‘em-up with more than an ounce of Jet Set Radio to its presentation.

Due out on PS5 in 2024, the title will see you “embrace the high octane life of a freelance bicycle messenger”. The press release explains: “Skid onto the sun kissed streets of New Island, where three bicycle courier corporations are vying to become the biggest, most profitable business in town. Pick a side then lock handlebars forming two-wheeled rivalries in pursuit of market share, influence, and a modest income.”

Judging by the bullet-points, it looks like you’ll be conquering districts by completing missions for the various businesses in New Island, all while mastering your skills as a cycler. The blend of Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Descenders has really captured our interest here, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of this once it gets closer to release.
