Well, one game that’s definitely not embargoed from the Xbox Showcase is Cities: Skylines 2, because even PlayStation has uploaded this pre-order trailer. The title’s due out on 24th October, and promises next-gen city building fun. You can get a glimpse of gameplay courtesy of the trailer embedded above; obviously these kind of games are never going to drop jaws, but there appears to be plenty of depth on display.
Pre-orders are open now, and there’s an Ultimate Edition which includes a ton of post-release content, including a Bridges and Ports expansion due next year.

I've noticed Microsoft are only putting embargoes on games that sony have had long ties with.
@UltimateOtaku91 Seems to be the case, yeah. Bit petty but oh well, we'll work with it.
Reminds me of SimCity
@get2sammyb I still don't see the point, Embargoes like this do the opposite, it basically tells playstation players that the games are coming as otherswise why put embargoes on them 🤔, these 48 hours no one is going to sell their playstation for an xbox.
I lost countless nights to the last one. This looks like it will eat even more of my time! Cant wait..
@UltimateOtaku91 well I mean back when Hogwarts Legacy was getting promoted some folks actually thought it wouldn't release on xbox at all to then prompt those 'is hogwarts releasing on x platform' type articles. And that was just promo rights
So I suppose there is substantial value to be found in embargoes.
I still think they're stupid though
This trailer trolled me into thinking it would be for Everywhere at the very start of the live drop😅 the music and the word every repeating over and over 😫 well played, city building SIM.
Omg hype for this
Yup, this one goes on the list . I played soo many hours in the first 1. I hope my GPU can handle it tho 😅😅
I can see me pre ordering this very shortly, still a fan of the first one and play it regularly but it could do with an overall upgrade.
