Polyphony Digital has followed up on its usual weekend tease to reveal the 1.35 update for Gran Turismo 7 will be going live shortly across PS5, PS4 systems. Drivers in the USA can start downloading the patch from 11pm PT while those in the UK have to wait until 7am BST tomorrow morning (29th June). The latest patch contains three new cars, two Menus to complete in the GT Café, more Music Rally events, and extra Scapes.
The three brand new cars added to the game are the 2021 Aston Martin Valkyrie, a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR from 1995, and the classic Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi '04. You can see them hit the track in the trailer above. The two new Menus in the GT Café are all about the Mistubishi and Subaru, unlocked at Collector Levels 26 and 30. There's then six more Music Rally events to race against the beat in and two Scapes that take your Photo Mode fantasies to Cabrillo Highway in California, USA and some fields in Hokkaido, Japan.
Patch 1.35 will go live for all player within the next 24 hours, so make sure your PS5 connects to the Internet while it's in Rest Mode to be able to play as soon as possible. Will you take any of these three new cars for a spin on the race track? Let us know in the comments below.

My favorite Subaru.
Always good to see more JDM cars
I think Polyphony will have to add in a new track for this game to start grabbing my attention again. In saying that, these cars are some cool additions!
I can’t be the only person whose PlayStation doesn’t download anything in test mode lmao. And yes it’s connected to the net
Been tempted to jump back in for some online races but there's no new challenging trophies for me to have a go at, done the plat a couple months after release. Obviously not really complaining here as it's free content but disappointing a little there's no new trophies yet
The Valkyrie sounds insane IRL, can't wait to try it out.
@Beerheadgamer82 Get back in and play it just for fun? Play what you want to not what can offer new trophies.
@Javafriek genuinely agree with every you just said but my massive backlog is telling me different everytime. Already gonna fall further behind on the backlog with many more big releases this year too
Been playing this in PSVR2 since my birthday last week.
Pretty amazing stuff!
Nice to have some new cars, but what I really want is an update for psvr2. I'm loving the online races in VR, think I've put 70 hours into them. But it really needs more info displayed, specifically the split times to the other racers.
The Valkyrie really is an astonishing piece of machinery.
I’ll happily pay for some new tracks, new missions (like the LH challenge in GT Sport).800+ hours and counting
@Beerheadgamer82 Same here backlog getting older and time is a luxury just platinumed Ghost of Tsushima singleplayer I don't want to put myself through the multi-player though i did it with the first Tombraider boosting it made me hate the game in the end. 🤣
I thought they would never add more songs to music rally. Now they just need to add it to the menu with everything else instead of splitting it off. I know people trash the mode but I enjoy it as a nice side activity. This definitely isn't the old school single player GT game we thought we'd get but I've definitely got my moneys worth. Was my most played game last year and will probably nab the top spot again this year.
Game version show 1.35 but when I try to start the game it says it needs an update!!!
Anyone else having this issue?
