Capcom’s been on fire for a while, so it’s understandable if you’re excited for next week’s Capcom Showcase. The publisher was originally quite vague about the contents of the show, but it’s since followed up with some firm confirmation of what we can expect to air during the event: Exoprimal, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, and, perhaps most importantly of all, Dragon’s Dogma 2.
That sounds like a strong billing alone, but we’re sure there will be more to look forward to: Street Fighter 6 is likely to get some kind of roadmap, for example, with its Battle Pass currently inaccessible and first DLC character presumably on the way later this summer. We’d also expect some updates on Resident Evil 4’s forthcoming PSVR2 mode as well.
All in all it’s shaping up to be a strong show, then. If you’re not sure what time to tune in, we’ve included a handy time zones guide below:
- North America: 3pm PDT / 4pm MDT / 5pm CDT / 6pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 11pm BST
- Europe: 12am (Tue) CEST / 1am (Tue) EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 7am (Tue) JST / 6am (Tue) AWST / 8am (Tue) AEST

Would love a RE7 PSVR2 port
Only played ghost trick for the first time last year, and I absolutely loved it. If you don't know anything about it, it's made by the same guy who made ace attorney, and it's got a similarly wacky cast with a lot of depth, and an excellent mystery. The core puzzle mechanics of interacting with objects in the world are really fun, and whilst I never think it's quite as fleshed out as it could be, it's still such an enjoyable game. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend you give this game a go, it deserves more time in the spotlight!
Dragon dogma 2 oh yeah.cant wait to see the gameplay.the gameplay trailer looks amazing.dragon dogma dark arisen is one of the best games ever made.i would love to see more onimusha games.word up son
That Pragmata game getting an update?
Dragon's Dogma 2 is the one for me.
Still buzzing after seeing this at the PlayStation showcase the other week.
I really hope Exoprimal succeeds. It's a very fun game, and it is very unique. I know a lot of people give this game crap, but it is far from a bad game. The beta was very good, and if they have a more variety of content to play, and if they have post release content in the pipeline and locked in for consistent release, then I think they can keep a respectable player base.
It's on Gamepass, but I think I'll just buy the game on PS5 tbh
I'm excited for any Capcom news. They've been putting out hit after hit, and I don't want their momentum to slow down.
Other than Dragon's Dogma, nothing interesting to me.
I only own 5 Capcom games, Dragon's Dogma 1, Okami HD, DMC Collection, DMC 5 and Mega Man 11.
I have been playing and collecting Capcom games for many a year and it forms the basis of my Instagram page, so because of Capcoms amazing output, I am always able to add to it! Really looking forward to seeing the Capcom Showcase, although there likely won’t be any surprises, it will be great to see some more in depth coverage of Dragons Dogma 2 and Ghost Trick!
No Dino Crisis... no care.
If you look closely you can see where it says stuff after Dragons Dogma 2. 😜
"Masterworks all, you can't go wrong," to quote one of the main characters from Dragons Dogma.
Hmm.... I think it's interesting that Dragon's Dogma 2, Exoprimal, and Ghost Trick, which were all announced within the past year or so were confirmed to be in attendance - yet Pragmata, which was announced way back at the PS5 reveal show in June 2020, was not. I mean Capcom could very well show it off, but you'd think after all this time, they'd want to let everyone know ASAP that the game will be there
I don't need to see any more of Exoprimal, and don't have any interest in Ghost Trick or DD2, but I'm happy for the surprises and for the folks who are excited for these titles.
There's a decent slim chance Pragmata could be revealed tonight at SGF. You might think well why not just show it at their own Capcom showcase but the SGF showcase will have more eyes on it I think. Would be nice to know what genre of game Pragmata is more than anything else. I'd love to see Code Veronica remake get announced but even more than that I'd love to see Onimusha and Dino Crisis make comeback in some capacity being revived from their graves, unlikely I know but I'd be all over it if it happens
The ONLY thing that should matter to you in the gaming world right now is DRAGON'S DOGMA 2!!!!!!!!!
✌️😁✌️😁✌️😁
Fire works well!!! 🔥
@Beerheadgamer82 @pyrrhic_victory @Damage99 @AndyKazama "as well as a few other updates!"
I could see them doing a "one last thing" and revealing Pragmata again, this time with a solid release date.
