With the release of Mortal Kombat 1 in the not-too-distant future and loving what we've seen so far, anticipation for the aggressive fighter mounts. With the Online Stress Test mere hours away, if you were one of the lucky chosen few (and we did remind you), emails have already been sent out. The file size has also been revealed, thanks to PlayStation Game Size, and it's surprisingly something of a bantamweight.
Mortal Kombat 1's Online Stress Test weighs in at just 6.632 GB, which, in keeping with the UFC metaphor we've impressively Googled in real-time, could potentially make it some kind of Aljamain Sterling analogue.
Regardless, provided you got the Golden Ticket, you can jump in from Friday, 23rd June, at 8 am PDT/ 4 pm BST.
The complete base game at launch, before the addition of additional Kombat Packs, does come in at a muscular 100 GB, so you may need to free up some space ahead of its 19th September launch. Were you chosen to compete? Proudly proclaim your participation in the comments section below.

I picked both PS5 and XSX as option, didn’t get invited. 😳 oh well, got FFXVI
There is a typo in the title. It's Combat*
I got in - so excited as an obsessive MK fan for years. I honestly didn’t think I would. Even better, I have a newborn right now so there are plenty of long nights ahead this weekend comforting him and playing MK1.
It was loads smaller on the SNES. The blood pixels must be very unoptimised. Very poor NetherRealm. Won’t be buying now.
@Triumph741 actually the series has been around since 1992 ( they've spelled it that way since then)if you knew the series history and why they spelled combat with a K instead of a C you'd understand
@SoulChimera all you had to do was make space for the game lol thats what i'm doing for the ps5 edtion
