One thing you could never accuse Ubisoft of is failing to support its games. Riders Republic is racing towards its eighth in-game season, and it’s adding an entirely new discipline along with it: skateboarding! This all-new trailer includes early cinematic gameplay footage, but it doesn’t look like the developer’s going to half-heart this fairly seismic addition. It’s due out on 26th September.

Of course, the game already includes a variety of other extreme sports, including skiing, cycling, and wingsuits, so this seems like the natural next step for the title. It’ll be interesting to see just how well it’s able to execute on the gameplay, because obviously most skateboarding games are designed specifically around that one, single sport. Hopefully it can pull it off!
