Comic book giant Marvel teased it earlier in the week, and now developer Insomniac Games has confirmed it: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on 20th July, 2023. The roundtable, named Symbiotic Relationships, will feature staffers from the Burbank studio as well as actors from the game.
Exactly what will be discussed is still under wraps, but you can probably expect a new trailer and some tidbits about the title’s story. We also wouldn’t be surprised if some new gameplay details are announced, perhaps pertaining to open world activities, minigames, or side quests. Obviously, Sony is not attending Gamescom or Tokyo Game Show this year, so it’s going to need to get this information out at some point before 20th October, and SDCC seems like a great venue for that.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the event and will bring you all of the news as it breaks. In the meantime, let us know what information you’d like to emerge from the panel in the comments section below.

Bring it on! I also imagine there will be a State of Play specific to this closer to time.
Glad we're finally going to be hearing something about this title!
With a name like that, I imagine they'll be going in-depth on Venom and/or what changes the symbiote being on Spider-Man will bring to the gameplay. Very excited!
I have extremely high expectations for this game and have zero doubts about it being good. Insomniac like Capcom have been extremely reliable as of late.
I'm still holding out hope we can play as Venom in the game. Considering how popular he is and the fact he's got two films plus a 3rd coming i really do think at the very least he will get a spin off game.
@WallyWest venom looks like an absolute beast in the screenshot released so that would be awesome.
@Splat I don't want to be negative because the gameplay looked amazing but I'm worried for the story, I don't know why but I'm just hoping the story doesn't end up a disappointment. Maybe it's because I'm thinking of Spiderman 3 and Amazing Spider Man 2 too much.
Its like Playstation woke up this week, feels like they've been quiet since the showcase and now they're starting to release some news
i'm in the middle i want to see more but i don't want to see too much , i hope they do keep some stuff a surprise playing the game.
I can't actually wait for this to release
I know eveything I need to know with that gameplay video. So no need, thanks.

Don't do that, it will be even better.
