We've been left impressed by everything we've seen of Fate/Samurai Remnant so far. The upcoming action RPG — which is due to release for PS5 and PS4 on the 29th September — clearly has a decent budget behind it, and that point's nailed home by the game's fully animated opening movie.
It's a really well made intro, made complete by a catchy Japanese soundtrack. There's also plenty of intrigue to be found, with no doubt pivotal story moments hinted at throughout the video. The bottom line here is that Fate/Samurai Remnant continues to look like it could be a surprise hit amongst fans of the genre.

This looks pretty good and I will be standing by to see more, but, I imagine I will be knee deep in BG3 at that time. Would like to see some game play down the road and if it is good, wait for a sale.
That is a tough timeline they have picked for themselves in September. I wish them luck....
What sort of action rpg is it? Is it like the tales of series or more like dark souls?
I am interested in this game but not nothing anything about the fate series(one anime series I've always wanted to get into but there's a lot too it) is kind of making me have a wait and see approach.
Going to be tough to pick between this and Eternights since they come out a week apart. Sept. 21st vs Sept. 29th.
I'm hoping at TGS Koei Tecmo finally shows us some brand new Dynasty Warriors or more importantly Samurai Warriors info.
The game is looking pretty good. Not at all surprised by the quality of the opening anime as some Fate series have the best animation in the industry.
Hoping we get Fate/Samurai Remnant "the Animation" series too.
@QBGaming12 Same for me on the Fate anime, where to start, but I hope to get to them. Cool characters and premise.
Eternights is on my list too. Hoping it's good.
@jorel262 True, every time I look at Fate I think it looks cool.
Also Eternights needs a lengthy trailer to show the combat/game mechanics because I'm still a bit curious about it.
@Shadcai The core combat seems to be quite hack and slash, but there's an emphasis on character switching in order to use combo moves and special attacks. It looks a bit like a Warriors game but with more moment-to-moment strategy and RPG elements.
I am interested and will pick this up along with EA FC 24, Robocop at the end of Sept.
Sept a stacked month with games like Starfield, BG3, Enternights and the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC on the menu!
