Sony has been releasing various studio profile videos on YouTube, presumably to help with recruitment in a stretched tech sector. This latest clip focuses on Seattle-based Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch, and digs a little bit into its background, before touching on its overall office culture. As is common with these kinds of videos, the team describes itself as a “family”.
There’s really not much to glean from the clip, aside from the fact that everyone is incredibly passionate about their job. One thing that did stand out to us is that one staff member describes the company as “small” for a AAA developer, which has generally always been the case, but is interesting to see pointed out.
All the rumours suggest Sucker Punch’s next major project will be a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, which isn’t exactly hard to imagine considering the first game was a gigantic commercial success – perhaps even beyond expectations. What are you looking for from the Seattle studio’s next title? Let us know in the comments section below.

Infamous!!! Wasn't a massive fan of ghost of Tsushima, but loved the infamous series
It's good to hear them recognise sly and infamous. Hopefully means there is a tiny chance they will be revisited at some point.
Just started GOT yesterday (sorry for being late to the party, massive back log of games and work/life limit me ).
Oh my! What an amazing game!!
Will buy the sequel day one one , no doubts whatsoever.
Nicely done SP!
Someone say "family"?
A wild Dominic Torreto appears
I wish they did something new or Infamous. I really liked Ghost of Tsushima but i am little worriend it's going to be more or less the same as first entitlement. Maybe if they did something similar but from different time and place. Like AC moves over the world with basically same game but this time with higher Sony quality
I’ll play a Tsushima sequel, but I’d enjoy see them tackling a new inFamous or Sly, as well as something completely new.
N.i.c.e. 👻 ghost of tsushima is one of the best games ever made.word up son
I really enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima and would be open to a sequel, but I would actually prefer to see them come up with a new IP first. There's clearly a lot of talent there, seeing them apply it to something new, creative and unexpected would be interesting. Whatever project they're working on, I'll probably play it.
Loved Ghost. It’s one of my favorite recent first party titles, and ironically I almost skipped on it, given SP’s history of continuous Infamous games. Glad, I decided to rent it (Ah, my last ever rental from Family Video) and I saw what heart the developers took in making an authentic samurai epic. Personally think it looks and plays better than, say, TLoU2 or HFW. I’m down for a sequel. I’d like to see a new Sly too, of course, or new IP.
Can't rally stand the self-gloating video format, but SP remains my favorite Sony studio, at least post-Japan Studio. GoT is a little too dry for it's running time for my tastes and too grim to really enjoy wholly, but they always nail the gameplay and make games that play like games where some studios lost sight and make interactive movies.
Please give us Ghost on PC. Kkthx.
By far one the greatest games that I’ve played in the last decade. They really did Japan a solid even though it’s historically fiction. But it had a great combination of elements that made it a great game and they nailed it. Graphically I was really impressed with the color and detail of the physics. The story made me not want to quit playing for weeks. And the gameplay pulled me in and the boss fights were challenging.
They really made something original and i hope they make a sequel. IMHO
