While we’re sure many of you will find yourself bristling at the idea of Gold Editions and Ultimate Editions, they’re clearly here to stay. The Crew Motorfest is no different: it has a variety of permutations available for purchase, with the two more expensive options shipping with three-day early access and a bunch of additional content.
This trailer at least outlines exactly what you can expect, namely a ton of new cars as part of the Year 1 Pass. You’ll get three of those vehicles – the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody 2023, the Chevrolet Chevelle SS 1970 and the BMW M4 Competition Coupe 2021 – all in the launch month, with a further two cars every month thereafter.
To be fair that’s quite a lot of content, and depending upon which version you purchase, there are some additional sweeteners too, like character outfits and car modification parts. But is this enough for you to plump up the extra cash for the title at launch? Will you even be joining the Motorfest at launch? Let us know in the comments section below.

If The Crew Motorfest supports accesibility options like forza does I’ll play it but man TC1 and 2 where just way too hard.
Like they expected you to grind I guess but it just steered you to MTX.
Am I the only one that misses over the top arcade racing games?
The best content comes to those with patience, we all know how to play that game nowadays 😉
@splat - Totally miss them
They will probably have a sale on within three months of release for the game so if you’re interested in these packages just wait
@Smiffy01 @Splat Definitely not alone! I love OTT arcade racers. I yearn for more Burnout/Ridge Racer/MotorStorm/WipEout pretty much every day.
It looks really good, I'm actually tempted to pre-order it. It's been a long time since I pre-ordered anything.
@Quintumply I want Split/Second available to dload or buy and not on the streaming 😒, Also a reboot of Blur and Pure would be good.
@Smiffy01 I missed out on Blur but I thought Split/Second was brilliant, would love a revival of that, for sure.
@Quintumply I miss San Francisco Rush. I'm showing my age with that one.
I read somewhere that the “next-gen” versions are locked behind the gold edition versions? Please say it ain’t so 🙄 and are we really still calling PS5/XSX next-gen, nearly 3 years after release?!?
I'll be day 1 on the game, but I never see value in the other packages. If its genuinely copying Forza, than a bunch of new cars are pretty worthless as the game will let us earn plenty.
@Splat I'll take a burnout 3 any day over what crap is released nowadays. Unreleased games sell you on the DLC before the game is even released there is no shame anymore.
Hard pass for me.. not a ‘car guy’.. it’s a video game and imo should be ‘arcadey’.. I pay money on games to experience things I otherwise couldn’t in real life.. I’ll never understand GT type games.. I’ll take Mario Kart 9 over this any day
I'll wait till Xmas for this and it'll be half price by then like most Ubisoft games loved the beta but too many other games coming to pay full price.
@KaijuKaiser glad it’s not true! 👍
@Nightcrawler71 I tend to say new-gen now 🤷♂️. But I’m 100% down for this but not the gold edition or special edition or super special edition, just a nice disc in a box preferably second hand 😁
@Splat If you have a Switch then you need to play Cruis'n Blast. Amazing game.
I will try the trial and if I like it I will be able to get it on a steep discount by Xmas. Good old ubisoft loves to discount thier tier 2 sales games quickly to increse units. Only AC games are in that T1 bracket. Maybe the Avatar or Star Wars game could join AC.
@Quintumply Motorstorm & WipEout, two series that desperately need a new entry on PS5. It has been too long..
