Certain things go hand-in-hand with VR, including racing, horror, and racquet sports. It's the latter of these we're being treated to here, as Tennis On-Court is heading to PSVR2 later this year.
Developed by Decathlon Games, the game is a first-person tennis sim with various ways to enjoy the sport. You'll be able to customise the experience to make it either realistic or arcadey, and you can choose from three options for movement depending on your preference.
In terms of modes, you can play singles against the AI, partake in five training modes to improve your skills, and play singles or doubles online. There are six stadiums, with different court surfaces like grass, clay, and so on. As well as that, you can fully customise your avatar and choose from several distinct racquets, each with their own characteristics.
It arrives later this year, on 20th October 2023. Will you be checking out Tennis On-Court on PSVR2? Lob us your thoughts in the comments section below.

Yes Iām down for this. Sports games are brilliant VR games
Can't wait! I don't think I've ever played a 'proper' tennis game in VR. Fingers crossed it turns out well.
This looks pretty awesome. Hopefully it will be responsive to ball placement somehow - although I don't see how it could.
That looks like a great reason to pick up a PSVR2 fair play.
Looking forward to this. Hopefully it will not give me motion sickness. šš
Can't wait for this one. Pretty sure it'll be room scale though which might put some people off.
@Dobbos full locomotion for Walkabout MiniGolf is a dangerous combination
@colonelkilgore yes but...SO MANY OTHER REASONS TOO!
