Almost 2,000 games and expansions have been discounted as part of a new PS Store promotion, which will run through 30th August, 2023. Some of the highlights include Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty for £38.49/$41.99, Dead Island 2’s Gold Edition for £55.99/$62.99, and GTA 5 for just £16.49/$19.79.
There are also savings across a number of Assassin’s Creed titles, while the expanded Sonic Origins Plus is down to its lowest price yet. Obviously, we’re still in the aftermath of Sony’s recent Summer Sale, so this isn’t necessarily the wallet breaker you may have been hoping for. You can still browse the full list of savings through here, however.

Went for red dead 2 ultimate edition for 26.99. So I'm sure a remastered ps5 edition will be announced soon 😂
So much cheaper if you go physical
Gonna buy the partner sherlock holmes awakened as she rli enjoys that game
@PsBoxSwitchOwner Debateable 😉
@Jswift56 I wish
@PsBoxSwitchOwner Only in major regions.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner Much MUCH cheaper if you use the Turkish store. Eg Red dead 2 ultimate ed is 6 (yep, six) quid.
I got Wo Long for £19 physical. IMO that's the perfect price for the game because whilst it's got great ideas, some of the bosses fall flat and the level design hasn't evolved enough from Nioh 2.
Banging OST tho.
Would get Sonic Origins for cheaper but it's still too high for me
CLANG! It only took 7 comments for the Turkey store to be mentioned, longer than normal tbf
Nice! Seems like a good time to give Red Matter 2 and Star Trek Resurgence a go. I guess it’s going to be a sci-fi end of summer.
@PaperAlien Turkey only comes up after the inevitable 'physical is cheaper' comment, in an article about a digital sale.
It's fair enough to refute that.
Still playing elden ring, and with armored core 6 on the way I think I'm gonna pass on this sales.
@Gamer_Guy but I could go to a shop and steal a physical copy so =£0 cheaper than Turkey right?
I was comparing like for like
I tried the Turkey store but didn't find any PS game deals. Did get a good price on a turkey though.
Most Physical games can be played without a internet connection ever. Black Friday I pick up almost every game thats on sale I don't already own thats $9.99 to $19.99. Average is about 8 each year. Really it not about what is the best way to buy your games! It's more about being able to buy YOUR choice.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner This is true until your disc stops working or you sell/trade it.
@nicc83 can I make a Turkey-region-account, buy games on it, then switch my main account and play the games?
Chaos;Child back on sale just in time, I finished Chaos;Head like a couple days ago. Already bought that, looking forward to it.
There's a few more things for cheap that I'm eyeing, but these discounts last until the end of the month, so no need to rush.

@Kidfried “I have a great imagination, I can imagine all possible ps5 games. So I don’t even need a physical console.”
This is the best comment I’ve ever read on Push Square. The only thing that pisses me off about it is that I didn’t think of it myself
@sorteddan 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I guess many folks forget that "used" PS5 games are in the mix to be cheaper. I have multiple stores where I live that have great PS5 deals and I have never had a problem with any disc. In fact, these places always give you 14 days in case anything is wrong with the disc. If a problem does not show up in that time, you are good to go for your permanent collection. And, if I decide I really don't want something for my physical collection, I can sell it back or give it to a friend.
For example: (All PS5 versions)
GT7: $22.00
Ratchet and Clank: $19.95
Demon Souls: $13.00
Sackboy ABA: $9.50
Far Cry 6: $10.50
Frankly, none of the sales on PSN or from physical retailers like Amazon, Target, or Best Buy can come close.
Many folks turn their noses up at used games, but that is where the real bargains are now a days.
Just saying....
@PaperAlien Not into saving money i take it ? Quite happy for Sony to keep pulling yer trousers down and ....... well 😃
Its very rare in this day and age of digital robbery you can get one up on a corporation so i took the time to set up the turkish account and have saved hundreds, it may last years, may last months but ill be bloody dipping my bread in the gravy while its going 😉
@TrickyDicky99 Lol but that's only if you can suffer the musty aroma of the under classes in the CEX 😃
Everybody keep mentioning the turkish account, but how do you actually purchase games from eu countries?
I’ll be taking the Walking Dead 2 deal and also possibly get Pavlov this weekend
@Svark not if you live in the UK where I'm from it isn't, the only second hand game stores near me are CEX and cash converters ,where the games are more expensive than brand new copies.
@ThaBEN I didn't realize so many PSVR2 games were on sale, because I've already bought most of them. Thanks for the list!
@tallythwack
Wow..
I had no idea. Here in the US, there are many places the sell used games. Usually these places sell used movies as well as used games. Never thought about used games being more than expensive than new games.
@nicc83 how are your paying for games in Turkish store? Crypto.com card has been blocked by sony
@Snake77 I'm not. The only method that's working now is way too much of a faff. I might try it when I can be bothered. But for now I'm going through the backlog
