Retrieval is being billed as a cinematic horror action-adventure game that follows Hana Loshe, the commander of a research team some 18 billion miles away from Earth, who uncovers the horrors living just beneath the surface. Don't expect this one to launch anytime soon, but it's been announced for PS5.
Despite sharing similar names and sci-fi settings, we imagine this will, in terms of gameplay, be universes different from Returnal and perhaps closer to something like Fort Solis. This is speculation, really, as virtually zero information on the game is available. Developed by 333Studio, Retrieval seems to be the small team's first project, and we'll just have to wait and see how this one develops.
What do you think of this tease of Retrieval, does the prospect of a cinematic horror game appeal? Let us know what you think and when we might see this title release in the comments section below.

The recent batch of sci-fi games really are starting to look the same.
There's a lot of space horror recently which I have always been fond of, signalis being my personal favourite of the recent releases.
If this is in engine I'm impressed, hope it turns out.
Looks great, certainly my kind of thing. Anything but open world, elden ring crap please 🙏
@PixelDragon if you read it properly what I meant is I'm sick of open world games. More linear horror aci fi experiences is what i want. An open world horror game no thanks.
@PixelDragon not worked up about anything, obviously your on a different road map.
Retrieval...kind of reminds me of Routine. That game was announced way back when, disappeared, reappeared, and then disappeared again
