It’s less than a week now until Perfect World’s hit online open world Tower of Fantasy debuts on PS5 and PS4, as a timed console exclusive for at least 12 months. The developer is marking the occasion with a set of PlayStation exclusive items, many of which can be obtained by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition – both of which also guarantee 48-hour early access to the release, from 6th August.
The items, on display in the trailer embedded above, include a white and blue Move Planes outfit hue, as well as the Icy Blue Booming race car skin and White Tailed Meteor glider. It’s pretty clear that the developer has been inspired by the look of the PS5, with its curvaceous white face plates and distinctive blue light. We reckon the items look great!
You’ll also get a bunch of virtual items and resources depending upon which bundle you pre-order, including Weapon Augmentations and in-game currency. It’ll be interesting to see if this game can pull players away from Genshin Impact, which is currently the biggest gacha game available on the PS5 and PS4 by some margin – we’re looking forward to giving it a try!

Is this one good? I see mostly mediocre reviews through-out the Internet, but have not tried Tower of Fantasy myself. Does it have lots of pay2win mechanics or players can enjoy the most of the content without throwing tons of money into it?
Got the Deluxe pre-ordered as it looks fantastic.
@Tomato_Goose From what I played on PC at the time its basically a multiplayer version of Genshin
@Mitsui @pharos_haven thanks for the answers. Guess, I'll stick to something else till the release of Baldur's Gate 3.
@Tomato_Goose My dude, if you haven't tried, go for Honkai Star Rail. It's so good.
I've been seeing that the big 3.0 update has been pretty well received but at the end of the day it's a free to play. You'll never really feel like you're getting the full experience until you fork over some cash.
@Tomato_Goose It has more gameplay compared to Genshin Impact. Also, it's still a mobile gacha game at the end of the day so the game design philosophy is very different from normal console or PC games.
It's still pretty to look at though.
Passing on live service stuff
