Ubisoft has made it abundantly clear that Assassin's Creed Mirage is, to a large extent, a throwback to the older style of Assassin's Creed. A greater focus on stealth, a stripping of (most) RPG systems, and a smaller, more intricate sandbox map all contribute to a game that's paying tribute to its roots.

And that's certainly the vibe we get from the title's launch trailer — likely the last promotional video it gets before release on the 5th October. Aside from the decidedly modern music, this could have been a trailer for one of the older Assassin's Creed games in terms of focus.
