Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is an unwieldy title that comes jam-packed with content, bundling every previous Ultimate Ninja Storm game together, along with over 130 characters from its expansive cast of characters.
We won't pretend to understand what has transpired in the larger Naruto verse (having fallen off somewhere back in Shippuden), but for mega-fans, this one seems like a no-brainer. This monstrous package brings expanded ninjutsu action, passed from father to son, to PS5 and PS4 on 17th November.

I'm a huge fan, but I've already played the Ninja Storm games, so I'm not sure I'll get this any time soon. Maybe somewhere down the line. Had they made a new game, I'd be all over that. Even if it was just Boruto stuff.
Still looks like those ninja storm games that came out during the PS3 era
Does Boruto have so little story and content that they're unable to make a dedicated Boruto game?
Gonna probably wait for a sale
I love Naruto (Stopped watching when Shippuden finished. Had a good ending.) Played all the ultimate ninja storm games so I'll likely wait for a sale since I have all 1-4 games.
@tehKAMI Boruto has not a lot of content. Monthly releases have made it that way. The story is basically at where Naruto part 1 ended, so not very far along. I'd recommend it though because since Kishimoto took over, it has ben sensational, hit after hit with each chapter.
The second part, Two Blue Vortex has just come in, it's at its second chapter and it has been amazing so far. Its a shame because its been running for what 5 years and very little consistency was reached until the Kara arc (3 years in).
The anime also being mostly filler has led to Boruto having a terrible reputation, but its manga is actually really good. Plus the Naruto name is just going to sell, too many Naruto fans
@theMEGAniggle Thanks for the explanation and info. I might check it out if/when I manage to get myself to finish Shippuden as I stopped watching during the galore of filler dream episodes when the infinite tsukuyomi happened xD
Hopefully there's gonna be a dedicated Boruto game at some point as I'd much prefer to play that and experience something new than to replay the Naruto's story for the umpth time.
@tehKAMI no problem! Also I'd recommend skipping any anime filler, especially the tsukiyomi dreams. It's not worth your time let me be honest 😂
Watch the end of Shippuden (canon episodes), then start boruto anime. With Boruto I'd only recommend watching the anime canon (not actual canon but good enough) and the manga canon episodes (they're so good).
Something tells me the games will never separate Boruto from Naruto, too many fans that only like Naruto. But the manga has pretty much said "okay this second part is a Boruto story" and everyone is loving it so far. Boruto is such a different character to Naruto and I like that they're not scared to separate and focus on the new gen.
