Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, widely regarded as one of the worst games ever made, is heading to PS5 and PS4. We knew this already — the remaster project was announced in 2021 — but it now finally has a digital release date, and physical pre-orders are soon to start. On top of that, though, there's some absolutely incredible merch up for grabs.

To recap, then: Limited Run Games is releasing a remaster of the infamous 3DO game, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. It's a dreadful adventure game that barely qualifies as an FMV, instead using a series of still images to tell its, er, story. This terrible title is being brought back with enhanced images as well as documentary and interview content. It'll be available to buy digitally on 8th December 2023, or you can pre-order various physical editions on Limited Run's website starting 22nd September.

In addition to the game itself, though, there are multiple merchandise options for fans(?) to buy. Most amusing is a double-sided body pillow cover, which features John on one side and Jane on the other. You can also lay a pre-order down for a skate deck, a cassette tape featuring the game's music, and a t-shirt bearing the game's logo.

There's certainly something funny about restoring one of the medium's worst examples, and we're sure it'll find a morbidly curious audience.
