Level-5 is plotting a serious comeback this year, and its new crime suspense RPG DECAPOLICE is leading the way. The game has impressed ever since it was first revealed, and continues to look extremely promising in these two new trailers. The first video focuses on the overall concept of the game, with its virtual replica of the real world used to solve crimes. Meanwhile, the second video showcases an entire case, as suspects are questioned, clues are gathered, and arrests are made.
Much like with Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, this game is officially set to release in 2023, although there’s no firm date attached yet – and obviously the developer’s running out of time, with October right around the corner. More information will likely be announced at the Tokyo Game Show next week.

Don't get me wrong, it looks great and all (I'll buy and I'll greatly enjoy it), but it just reminds me of Nino Kuni, which has a much better setting imo.
It looks okay but was hoping for ni no kuni 3 or a sequel/remake of rogue galaxy.
@Shadcai For Ni No Kuni, probably Bandai Namco has to step up and bring some cash to the table. Those were AAA RPGs. These 2 games, Decapolice and Inazuma, seem made on a budget.
Im definitely getting this. Level 5 is fantastic and deserves support. Said it once and ill say it again, these are the types of developer Sony should be looking to acquire if they want to grow in the east and diversify their line up
Looks great so far. It's certainly one to watch out for.
Much more excited for Fantasy Life and Layton, but this looks good, too.
Just wish we could hear more about these. It's becoming increasingly difficult to believe the 2023 release date window.
N.i.c.e. level 5 games are amazing.so i cant wait for this game.word up son
@Ralizah The Level 5 games staying with 2023 release window but not giving a precise release date gives me the impression they'll be announced as day 1 on Game Pass in Microsoft's TGS stream with a precise release date.
@Grumblevolcano Oh geez. Game Pass is already looking good lately. It'd look even better in that case.
I kinda hope you're right. I love that I don't have to spend $60/$70 on the new Persona games coming out.
Man, people always like to bemoan all the sequels we get and the lack of fresh ideas, and then when a studio brings out something new people say they'd rather have sequels to their existing IPs or negatively compare it to preexisting titles.
@tameshiyaku I just prefer the setting. I'd take fantasy over modern world. Swords over guns. That's all. Though in general I know what you mean.
@naruball yeah, the first ni no Kuni was a truly special game. The sequel unfortunately didn't connect with me personally.
I liked the look of this one the moment I saw it
Of the three Level 5 games releasing this is the one I will get first without any doubts.
If some of the people here saying L5 games will hit gamepass early - that is a really big deal imho. That and Sea of Stars is going to start turning some Nintendo fans eyes to the XS.
I really dont like L5 stacking their releases so close to one another though. Not a great idea. Some people like me want to play all three.
I hope when it comes out in english that it has a english dub and a good one at that
@Mauzuri it didn't hit the heights of the first but I still enjoyed it and it was still very well received
This should be a very appealing launch, in 2024.
Alongside the new Layton game, Decapolice is the one I have always been most interested in of the upcoming new Level-5 games, espcially since it initialy started as a spiritual sequel to Layton appearently.
@Mauzuri I mean it was on the reviews too.
@Mauzuri I thought Custer's Revenge was worse than as sticker star personally.
