SEGA and RGG Studio — developer of the Like a Dragon series — have announced the date for another RGG Summit presentation. If you're itching to see more about Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you may want to tune in on 20th September.
We got a fresh look at the former game in particular during the last RGG Summit, and it's shaping up to be a fantastic spin-off. In fact, we went hands-on with it recently, and came away excited for the final game. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, meanwhile, is a little further out, but we got a new trailer recently too.
Exactly what will be shown during this month's presentation is a mystery, especially given the last RGG Summit was only a couple of months ago. Still, if you're interested in watching live, it's happening on 20th September at 12pm JST. This translates to 4am BST, or 8pm PDT/11pm EDT on 19th September.
Are you excited for more Like a Dragon goodness? Will you be watching this presentation? Use your best heat move in the comments section below.

I don’t need any further news. It’s Yakuza, the best gaming series ever. Insta-buy.
@BeerIsAwesome to be fair this is the only game series the devs have ever cared to make.
@Nepp67 the devs also made monkey balls before yakuza, the monkey balls remakes on current hardware, the virtua fighter 5 remake a few years ago and binary domain.
And while yes, BD and OG monkey balls where made before the studio was called RGG studios they where still made by RGG studios.
Edit: meant monkey balls, not island
If I have said it once I have said it a thousand times, Gaiden better cure my depression or I'm quitting the hobby.
@darkswabber Yeah I forgot about the VF5 remake but still I would like to see them work on something new.
LADGTMWEHP might end up being a Day 1 for me.
@Lup
Unfortunately, I have this ordered through amazon.jp to get a physical copy and I may have to wait a few days for it to arrive after release day.
@MikeOrator
Well, nothing wrong with that, it's a small price to pay, I guess. I only buy digital nowadays since in my country it's like half the price of a physical copy.
Finished Yakuza 6 for the first time a few days ago and I'm currently playing Lost Paradise.
I know I still need to play 7 (LAD) but I'm still really hyped.
Nice title it took me like 3 reads to get it
I heard on Mondays Digital Foundry podcast that this game will bring Model 3 emulated arcade games for the first time. Daytona USA 2 will now be playable on consoles! It only took 25 years!
@thefourfoldroot1 I feel the same way. I will buy any game related to Yakuza. I'll also consider other games by RGG Studios.
Looking forward to seeing Daytona USA 2 footage.
I want more majima in my yakuza dish but day 1 for me =)
@MikeOrator is this English text? Because I just imported a jap game and it doesn't have any 😟
@Andy22385
Honestly, I don't know. Lots of people say that there will be subtitles on this or maybe even the English voice track. But I am fully prepared to purchase it digitally if it does not. I just really like physical games and would like it to go with my slowly growing Like a Dragon collection.
@Lup
I would almost consider going digital if games were half the price. Unfortunately thats not the case in my country. Sometimes digital is MORE.
@MikeOrator same I always buy physical, barely pay anything for gaming that way. I'll be getting it digital if I have to though
