Little Nightmares III is the next instalment in the spooky series, which melds horror elements with puzzles, platforming, and adventure mechanics. It's due out sometime in 2024 for PS5 and PS4, and an extended look at pre-alpha gameplay has been released, showcasing the game's cooperative mechanics.
Over 18 minutes, developer Supermassive Games (of Until Dawn, Dark Pictures fame) shows off the cooperative game mode, a first for the series. Two players guide their diminutive characters through "The Necropolis", a journey which the description puts thusly:

"Join Low and Alone as they attempt to face the many hidden hazards of the Necropolis. They’ll need to creep carefully, though… No one gets to toddle through Monster Baby’s playground without a little game of hide and seek. This first look gameplay walkthrough was captured on a pre-alpha build of Little Nightmares III, with two players using the new cooperative mode."

Little Nightmares is a series I really need to play at some point
@Hooder That’s what I thought until I played the first one and it was just the Tintin game for the Wii but worse.
18 minutes of less spooky gameplay compared to previous entries. A bit underwhelmed, all though appreciate that developers tries to refresh the IP.
Interesting to see that Supermassive Games will be doing the entire third game.
