Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available to pre-load ahead of its launch on 20th October, and if you’ve already downloaded the digital version, there’s a further pre-release patch to install now. Weighing in at 1.831GB, the latest update will likely include a handful of launch day bug fixes and improvements. If you’re purchasing the game physically, make sure you set aside some additional time to install this prior to playing.
Insomniac Games is obviously a very dependable developer, so you probably shouldn’t expect too many bugs or issues with the anticipated superhero sequel at launch. We’ll be able to inform you for sure when our review runs next week, so keep an eye out for that. We’ll also keep you updated about any post-release plans the Burbank-based developer has for the title, including the possibility of any additional expansions like the original game.
