In the market for something new to play on your PS5 and PS4? Well, you’re in luck, because Sony’s just plunged the price of almost 3,000 more games on the PS Store, across both consoles. These new deals have arrived to replace the outgoing Extended Play sale, which finishes later today, so make sure you’ve grabbed everything you wanted from that before it’s too late.
Some highlights we spotted while browsing include:
- GTA 5: £17.49/$19.79
- F1 23: £34.99/$34.99
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: £45.49/$45.49
- Madden NFL 24: £34.99/$45.49
- Among Us: £2.30/$3.49
- Dragon Ball FighterZ: £6.99/$14.24
Many of the above are new lows on the PS Store, so you’re getting guaranteed top-tier savings here. You’ve also got quite a bit of time to grab these games at their discounted prices: the sale will run until 25th October. What’re you buying? As always you can find a full list of discounts on the PS Store, but be sure to check back and let us know.

I can't help but think that only mugs buy full price games anymore given how many sales there are.
And about 2.950 of them are the same games that have been in sale for a million times already for the exact same prices and yet there is a weekly news article about it.
Am I the only one here who has literally not purchased a game since joining PS+ Extra? It's not that I don't want to but the fear of buying something only for it to get added the next week is too much. It means I'm a few years behind (just finishing Miles Morales) but my wallet is grateful.
Immortals of Aveum is on a big sale less than two months after release. Not really inspired by the gameplay. Looks like Doom with magic and GoW reboot map style. So nothing new outside of the magic being analogous for guns.
@Ooccoo_Jr no you are not. I'll buy the new games i want day 1 on physical media but i tend to buy very few games in sales since subbing to extra.
The Stanley Parable is on sale for the first time (at least as far as I remember!)
@Ooccoo_Jr .
Spiderman 2 will be my 1st purchase since Extra started. And that is just because my son is desperate to play it. He's completed spiderman and MM multiple times so I figured its money well spent.
@LifeGirl Or maybe there's people who are excited to play certain games they have been looking forward to and don't want to wait an extra 2-3 months for a sale.
Its also a way to show your support for the team behind the game, especially Indie and AA devs who need the money if they are to continue with future projects.
I buy some stuff on sales when its below £10 but with extra I must admit my spending is down. I will play Spiderman 2 but cant justify the £70 price tag so will wait til cheaper think the only day one game I may consider is FF7 Rebirth. With backlog and extra don't really need to buy day one at the moment.

A few I noticed:
Feels like many of these sales are exactly the same again and again, down to the percentage off. At least that's what I'm noticing in my wish list.
I did manage to pick up Steamworld Dig 2 at €2.99 though, no brainer at that price point. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga at 67% off doesn't look bad either.
@Ooccoo_Jr Not really, im ditching extra when mines run out, i buy in sales and also can play my stuff at my own pace rather than rushing through stuff in fear it may be removed from the service at whatever time suits Sony.
Ion Fury and Quake 2 are on sale, for those who like their shooters more boomer
To sale or not to sale, that is the question. I think I'll still be playing BG3 by Black Friday at this rate tbh, so might just wait for the next big sale. Hogwarts and Star Wars looking tempting, but logic dictates there's no point as I won't be playing them yet 😅
@PenguinLtd I enjoyed what I played immensely (I think about half way through) when it released. But the bugs were just too much to handle, including losing about 10 hrs on my save, so I traded it in. If the game is fixed (I think that the frame rates have mostly been remedied), then it should be fantastic.
Only way to see this or the thousands of other sales, is to see it ironic. I mean, who pays thise prices.
If you want to play something like Jedi, go buy it at launch, play it for a month or less, sell it at same price, or maybe 5 bucks less.
Or, you know pay 40 bucks for the digital release years later. on
@Ooccoo_Jr Yeah, I’m starting to be reluctant to grab some of these games on sale due to the tendency of games recently on sale dropping into Extra. I had picked up Disco Elysium a while back on sale and have yet to play it, for example, and now I could have just played it through PS+. Fortunately I did buy it physical, so I can resell it if I want.
So the games I’m buying lately are either at launch, in physical disc so as to have the ability to flip them, or on a discount when it’s a game I don’t suspect to ever go on PS+, like FromSoft games.
@PenguinLtd I think that’s a good price for Jedi Survivor and well worth it, imo. I bought it at launch and paid full price and quite enjoyed it. Spent almost 90 hours on it. The launch technical issues are mostly ironed out (and imo were largely overblown anyways) although the performance mode can still be inconsistent at times. If you’re one of the ‘60 fps or bust’ crowd then you might have some concerns, but if you’re someone who can give a little leeway to these huge open world games that have so much content and will have a frame hitch from time to time or are fine just playing the 30 fps mode, then you’ll really enjoy it. Provided you liked the first game, because it’s similar, although quite a bit larger and has more varied combat and traversal options.
@UltimateOtaku91 true that . I night Starfield disc ro support the dev and haven't even opened it since it's in game pass , I also just bought ps5 only for spiderman edition and I'll probably give away the spiderman 2 code so I can buy the disc version.
It's just like the Amazon sales. Who would pay full price for a Amazon device when they are literally on sale 6 times a year.
@Ooccoo_Jr
I'm like you. I rarely buy games day 1 as there is always a backlog available through PS Plus Premium.
Games I want to play day 1 like Spider-Man I will buy, beat and platinum within a week or 2 and then resell for close to the amount I purchased it for.
Did this for GOW Ragnarok and essentially spent $10 on it after reselling it.
I think I might pick up viewfinder for 15 quid, I really enjoyed the demo! I wasn't hugely loving the narrative stuff but the mechanics game me big portal vines. Very cool mechanics
@Skeletor85 I am also frustrated by the sales at the PS Store for the past few years. But I think Push Square does a great job keeping us up to date on PS stuff, and that stuff includes when there is a sale going.
I like the reminders that there is a sale going on, even if I wish the sales were better.
I was looking for a TLOU part 1 PS5 remake discount but nothing…
Yh its not so much sales as it is prices back to more fair level. Games on ps store stay at launch price forever between sales.
A bit of a joke this, on us.
The sale doesn't show on my cell ps app, only see individual games on sale on my wishlist.
@LifeGirl It's called supporting the creators
@Muttt always check psprices. I bought it on sale like a year ago 🙃
Yeah, great I just ordered F1 '23 in the Prime sale yesterday. Woke up today to find it cheaper (slightly) on the PS Store...I'd been waiting for ages for the price to drop, then it dropped by two companies within a day! It's for myself as a birthday gift, so I'll keep the physical version, I can lend it to my kids then..I've heard of this happening to other folk. But this was my first time....not nice...🙄🤷😉
Im glad.
I been a gamer all my life, but right now i can barely even afford to buy food.
Prices everywhere have gone up by at least 30% since the ukraine war started but im not actually making more money. They say theyre gonna raise it by 6% but thats not enough.
There's a history of inflation, then false promises saying the prices will drop again (but they wont). This keeps happening and the gap between rich and poor is growing and growing.
Hopefully i'll be able to afford games again some time in my life but realistically history shows that that's not gonna happen, they clearly dont care about the social minimum
@Tucanino I grabbed in from Amazon yesterday for $45. Not the cheapest but that game just doesn't go on sale very often.
@hel105 Yeah, exactly.
@Skeletor85
Exactly this. It’s like people don’t yet understand that these ARE the prices. It’s just they are increased every now and again so they can be “put on sale” In order for the publishers to increase fear of missing out and gain more attention in the marketplace. The “sale” rarely improve, just keep hitting at the same old level 90% of the time.
@Netret0120
This is exactly my method these days. Which is why all the platform holders, not to mention publishers, would love to get rid of physical releases.
The only caveat being I do buy PSVR2 games at full price if they are £25 or below, but this is largely because they are rarely released physically plus I want to support the platform .
@PenguinLtd I loved it. Very much worth it if you’re a Star Wars fan.
Almost 3000 titles more but only 6 highlights? Guess I won’t get too excited then …
Cannot understand why we have to pay top dollar for digital games, i mean £70 + for a new game on physical media I think is a bit steep, but I suppose you are getting the blue ray disc, the case and the artwork on the cover, plus the shop rates and payment for staff, but, digital costing the same amount, no disc, no case, no artwork and no retail outlet rates or staff to pay, yet we're still being asked £70+ . Should be discounted for digital purchase , I tend to buy physical games, just the odd digital if the game isn't released in physical form, or the digital version is at a good sale price.
(UK).
If you didn't buy cod: modern warfare 2 yet, you can grab one for £15 at asda. But it maybe run our already at your store...
Now, that's a real discount.
@Muttt It was on sale back in January and in early September but this is it’s lowest price dropping below £10 for the first time.
@LifeGirl Mugs na just people want to play day1 , IE God of war Ragnarok was a day 1 purchase. I'm not waiting 2 years for it to be £15 quid , no one's a mug if they want to spend their cash on a full price title , each to there own.
