There are so many great games to play at the moment, but you can't say no to a freebie, surely? If you've yet to take The Crew Motorfest for a spin, Ubisoft is bringing back the free trial period, letting to play the full game for a limited time.
The publisher's latest open world racer launched last month, and when it did, it was free to play the full game for up to five hours within a certain timeframe. Now, the same trial is coming back. Between 10th and 20th October 2023, you'll be able to download the racing title and play for five hours and see what it has to offer. If you do then decide to purchase the game, your progress will carry over.
As you might expect, Ubisoft is pairing this initiative with a reduced price tag. On PS Store, the standard version of the game will be 20 per cent off, while you'll be able to save 15 per cent on the Gold and Ultimate editions.
We'd definitely recommend giving it a try, if you're at all interested. As far as we're concerned, Motorfest is quite comfortably the best game in the series, owing to its digestible structure, much improved handling, and more focused map.
Will you be taking this game for a spin with the free trial? Let us know in the comments section below.

Is this trial for PS4 and PS5?
I'm really loving this game.
I've heard plenty say that it's a Forza horizon rip off and to be fair yes it is.... but I mean that in the most complimentary way possible
Is it as good as Forza horizon? Probably not quite ....but it's the closest thing you'll get to it on PlayStation
If there was a VR mode, I probably would.
It is always surprising to me why there seem to be so few VR enthusiasts among the developers, and not more developers try to add a VR mode. Commercially, it presumably would hardly be worthwhile, but I could imagine that there are enough psvr2 owners who would only jump in if there was a VR mode and might even be willing to spend a little extra for the additional level of immersion. It should be possible to get the investment back. Though, I have no idea how much a VR adaptation would cost. Maybe it is much more expensive than I think. But in particular for a car game that already has a cockpit view and runs at 60 fps it cannot be that hard, can it ?
I've been enjoying it and as I said in the "what are you playing this weekend" comments, I've probably had more fun with this than I have either FH4 or 5.
If you like arcade racers and can see past the pure cheese dialogue, it's defo worth a punt.
10 days? You can complete the game 5 times in that interval.
It's a 5 hour trial
@sanderson72 Yes
@Sil_Am
You'll do well to complete it 5 times within a 5 hour trial period 😂
@Member_the_game ah, just 5h? That's 3-4 playlists.
Good game, but they need to add some new playlists soon. I only have a few left to do, and apart from the occasional grand race the playlists are my go-to activity in this game.
Pretty cool to see trials like this.
Is there any word on Ubisoft+ coming to PS anytime soon?
MotorFest...aka the Forza Horizon wanna be will be free to try for 10 days to those that refuses to downgrade to a different racing experience.
I saw this on sale in smyths the other day. Quite disheartening lol
