Publisher Thunderful Games has announced its hit side-scrolling adventure, Planet of Lana, is heading to new platforms, including PS5 and PS4. Previously a console exclusive on Xbox, the game takes a running jump onto Sony's consoles in Spring 2024.
If you're unfamiliar with this one, Planet of Lana is a 2D puzzle platformer that boasts slick animation and very pretty visuals. You play as a little girl whose friend is taken away amid a hostile alien invasion, and of course, it falls to you (and squishy cat companion Mui) to rescue him — without falling victim yourself.
The game reviewed very well indeed earlier this year; our sister site Pure Xbox awarded it an 8/10, concluding that it's "an experience that lives in the memory" thanks to its gorgeous presentation, smooth gameplay, and varied puzzles.

I enjoyed it earlier in the year. Nice little game.
It was a short, nice game. Nothing for a second playtrough or to really remember.
On Gamepass it worked perfectly.
There were a few nice moments, it has oodles of charm, and the art is gorgeous. But that aside it's a game you've basically played many times before, the gameplay is pretty basic, as is the plot. I enjoyed it but also thought it was a little overhyped and overrated. Still a solid 7/10 for me. ymmv
