Fellow walkers of The Path rejoice: the gravelly voice of Geralt you know and love from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is reprising the role in an animated movie coming to Netflix called The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.
The inimitable Doug Cockle will return sometime "late" next year in the film, which will see Geralt investigating a series of amphibious assaults in a seaside village, eventually becoming embroiled in a conflict between humans and merpeople.
Sirens of the Deep is based on Andrzej Sapkowski's short story A Little Sacrifice. This animated adaptation is being directed by Kang Hei Chul, who also directed Netflix's previous Witcher flick, Nightmare of the Wolf, which is reassuring.
What do you think of The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep? Does this aquatic outing intrigue you? Did you catch Nightmare of the Wolf on Netflix previously? Let us know in the comments section below.

I could see Netflix eventually buying CD projekt. They putting more and more focus on video games.
Oh helllll yeah
Poor animation but any excuse to hear the real Geralt again is enough.
I can't hear Geralt as anyone else
This looks infinitely better than the Live Action series and the characters actually match the novels too. It's weird how Netflix recruit the right people to produce animated shows but drop the ball so hard for live action such as Cowboy Bebop, The Witcher, and Resident Evil.
At least One Piece and Avatar seems to be a step in the right direction.
Love this story. In it, Geralt admits that he's absolutely terriffied of the sea because he doesn't know what lurks there.
I really hope that Essi the bard is in this.
@Americansamurai1 didn't AZN just lay off 180 videogame developers?
@theheadofabroom AZN? Not sure who that is
@Americansamurai1 sorry, Amazon, it's their stock ticker (and after checking, it's actually AMZN, which is hardly quicker to type 🤦)
@theheadofabroom oh ok, yeah I know there been a lot of layoffs this year but I don't think it's going to stop massive acquisitions next year
