House Flipper 2 is making a move onto consoles in 2024. Due to release soon on PC, the house-renovating simulation game will arrive on PS5 about three months later, launching 21st March next year.
If you're unaware of the game (or its predecessor), it's all about buying a fixer-upper property, cleaning it up, making repairs, and otherwise adding value before selling it for a tidy profit. You can get a feel for it in the above trailer, which shows gameplay of building, cleaning, and decorating a house. While the main mode will focus on these renovation jobs, there's also a sandbox mode in which you can build and design a house of your own.
As with other simulators of this ilk, there's certainly satisfaction to be found in steadily earning cash and putting in the graft. What do you think of House Flipper 2? Are you flipping out over this one? Paint rollers at the ready in the comments section below.

I wish everyone who does this in real life would just play this video game instead 😅
@tabris95 I’m salty about it as well because one of my parents was led to pursue it as a sole source of income after losing a successful commission-based career and floundering in a customer service position at a marketing company during the US recession in the late 2000s, to the extent that my parents nearly separated and that by the time I was in high school my parents and I were homeless and staying in an emergency shelter during the first half of one school year. Luckily, we’re doing far better now, even considering the recent pandemic and looming drought.
@AccessibleDaydream That's awful that you and your family had to go through that. I'm glad it was enough income to get you out of that situation at least.
@tabris95 I’m sorry, I believe I misspoke. The house-flipping business is what got us into that situation, and it took until a year or two ago for us to finally be clear of it enough to not have to struggle to survive.
