While not every publisher has been supportive of Sony’s drive to bring emulated PS1 and PSP games to PS Plus Premium, Disney has been a surprise ally. And it looks like another of its old tie-ins could be coming to PS5 and PS4 in the near future, as Gematsu spotted the Taiwanese ratings board has added a listing for Pixar’s Up.
It’s highly likely this will be an emulated version of the PSP game, which was developed by Asobo Studio – the team behind A Plague Tale: Innocence – and released alongside the movie in 2009. Disney has already released an emulated version of Toy Story 3 on Sony’s modern consoles, which is available as part of PS Plus Premium.
Perhaps the only downside to Disney’s re-releases is that they don’t currently include Trophies like Sony’s own first-party ports. Still, we’d personally prefer to have a wide selection of games available – even if they don’t all include Trophies. If you’d like to learn more about the gameplay of Up, you can check out an old PSP playthrough here.

I'm definitely going to be keeping Premium now!
I'd rather have less of a third party selection with trophies than more without.
This is the first time I'm hearing the up game for psp being referred to as a classic😂
On another note, I do miss movie tie ins a lot if I'll be honest. Yeah some of them were pretty horrid(looking at you smurfs 2) but some of them were great too. Dont know if they've aged well but shrek 2 and x men origins wolverine were good games man😂
Would prefer more effort to bring the PS3 versions of these titles to current hardware.
The PS3 saw a Rango tie-in. No further comment.
@Ken_Kaniff You prefer trophies to games? Bizarre.
@BeerIsAwesome Such a good game that I was indeed shocked when I found out that it was based on a movie😂. Rockstar made a fantastic game.
Come to think of it I should watch the movie some time
£120 a year well spent
I’m letting Plus lapse this month, but I wouldn’t play the game anyway, if for no other reason than it not including a trophy campaign. Sort it out Sony.
They need to put more ps1 game like parasite eve in there.thats a classic ps1 game.and trophy support is supposed to be for all the games.word up son
Man this price hike is really justified now.
@nessisonett Forgot the /s but suppose it was obvious
I get that it's easier to bring over PSP versions but I would rather have the best version which is PS3 or PC.
Unfortunately this is an area where there really doesn't feel like Sony's 3rd party content team's have put any great efforts into with regards to bolstering "PS Classics" content.
What on earth ever happened to the rumoured Dino Crisis games,or surely RE 2 & 3? Or Rayman, or there's EA games like Theme Park/Hospital, Wing Commander 3 & 4. Alundra,Blood Omen Legacy of Kain,& the Adventures of Lomax, or the Colony Wars series....
Nevermind if they bothered doing a new ps2 emulation capable of running on ps5 properly there'd be stuff like NFS Underground 1 & 2, SSX Series,Maximo Quest for Glory & Army of Zin, & the Sly Cooper & early God of War games just to name a few!
Sad to say, but felt like PS Deluxe was a mere afterthought for regions like mine that never had PS Now streaming, with little budget or teams to bring across PS Classic content.
more Sony complacency just do bare minimum
Man, why not at least the PS3 versions of these games to stream? The PSP alternatives are so inferior.
Things are looking Up!
Some movie tie ins are good this one may be but I'd have preferred far more exciting third party games. Sigh.
Tokobot, Cube, Mercury Meltdown, Crush, Practical Intelligence Quotient 1&2, Exit as just some puzzle games.
EA Replay on PSP maybe. Sega Genesis/Mega Drive (oh way they have that already for PS4 oops) Collection.
Theme Hospital/Park, Kula World (well Gravity Trickster on PS4 covers that somewhat nowadays), Devil Dice, Blasto, or other PS1 games would be nice for sure.
Coded Arms/Contagion come on Konami.
So many PSP games (trying to remember more to comment with then those I did above) worth it and many people overlook. Some good ports, good originals, just whatever gets offered of source code andicendes sigh and then wonder why people will emulate or may try the service 'if' available as if not on PS Vita eshop or PS3 well time to get it physical for PS1/2/PSP/PS3 or emulate it.
PSP works as many PS3 or PS2 aren't available to Deluxe (cough do people forget many can't play PS3 streaming no clearly not Premium isn't in every region so I praise Sony offering PSP versions as a smart choice, if the source code is available for the games of course do people realise that you premium user regions, some of us can't without a VPN so having a game we can play in all regions is great to have) users or PS2 isn't being expanded right now due to the emulator needing changes or companies too lazy to offer source code.
The PSP versions are actually good not oh it's a handheld and lesser waaaaaaah sometimes the PSP/PS2Wii version was better than the HD versions who cared about HD resolutions if the content was actually better in the old gen versions in some cases. Even then most of you don't even care if it had Move support anyways or whatever side content probably.
HD/Trophies couldn't care less availability is better than both.
Even then for movie tie ins where is Spiderman 2 2004, Monsters Inc Scare Island even.
I have so many psp and vita games I'd prefer to have on my ps4 or ps5 like seriously
@FredBiletnikoff Nope, I prefer games to have trophies. I don't prefer trophies over games. Big difference.
Would love them to add A bug’s life, Mickey’s wild adventure, monsters inc scare island, Donald Duck quack attack and PK
