Persona 5 Tactica isn't set to release until the 17th November — nine days away, at the time of writing this article — but SEGA somehow managed to launch the strategy title early on Steam. For just a brief window of about ten minutes earlier today, PC players could snag the game well ahead of its intended release date, probably thanks to some kind of scheduling error on the Steam store.
Hilariously, this isn't the first time SEGA's made such a cock-up. All the way back in 2018, the Japanese publisher pushed a playable demo for Yakuza 6 that wasn't actually a demo. Those who downloaded it quickly discovered that the 'demo' included the entire game — although a lot of its content was locked off. This was months before the full game's launch.
Again, Persona 5 Tactica is meant to release on the 17th November for both PS5 and PS4. Will you be picking it up? Or have you had enough of the Phantom Thieves at this point? Duck for cover in the comments section below.

I still haven’t ordered this yet. Didn’t really see any pre order bonus worth salivating about though which is a shame. Wish these games continued with steelbooks
Oh the difference that 6 years makes. When Persona 5 Vanilla released, Atlus went scorched earth on streamers, YouTubers etc warning them to not show any of the game after a certain date (this was well after the release of the game). Now here they are just releasing the entire game early by mistake.
He meant to click on the launch Like a Dragon Gaiden Button instead oof.
@AsterZero Agreed
I'm still waiting for that rumored SMTV rerelease for other consoles
This seems to happen to ATLUS and Sonic team a lot lmao
I’m actually still down for a P5 fighting game.
@AsterZero Fair.
Nocturne has a hella good vibe tied to it compared to SMTV
