Sand Land continues to look like a surprisingly inspired adaptation in its latest promotional video. Producer Keishu Minami is back for a second developer diary, which reveals the existence of side quests and explorable dungeons.
Completing side quests can help you recruit people for your base — more information on that's coming in the next episode, apparently — and delving into dungeons can net you all kinds of rewards, like powerful parts for your vehicles.
Again, Sand Land's looking promising for a while now, and based on all of the gameplay we've seen, it's got the potential to be one of Bandai Namco's more interesting anime titles. The action RPG still doesn't have a release date, but we doubt it's that far off.

looking forward to this : )
Persona 3 Reload, Eiyuden Chronicles, FFVII Rebirth, Granblue Fantasy Re:Link, Metaphor Re:Fantazio, and a bunch of other ones that I forgot or haven't been announced (hopefully release date for Ys X to the West)...2024 is gonna be great for JRPG fans!
Still waiting for this game to grab me. I dont know the source material so maybe that's why.
@3Above The manga is just one volume, so it's quite a quick read. I'd recommend it!
@ShogunRok I think I will now that AoT is over. Cheers!
@straw-hat-crew absolutely nuts how much is coming next year. People talk about 2023 being the best year ever but for JRPG lovers, this is easily going to trounce 2023
Stil prefer Water World to Sand Land but it does look fun.
Still amazes me that something I read many many years ago is getting a movie and a game. The game really looks good.
