Of course, in addition to all of the side-activities, the combat will be the star of this release. “By strengthening the impact and rhythm of combat animations and introducing a brand-new Perfect Assist mechanic, the game’s latest version is friendlier than ever to action game newcomers. At the same time, it introduces a newly developed challenge mode, Hollow Zero, which not only serves as a significant setting in the story but also is sure to meet the expectations of veteran action game players in terms of combat experience.”
There’s a new trailer above, which frankly looks incredible. Meanwhile, you can sign up for the beta through here and participate in a web event as part of the developer’s proprietary social network, HoYoLAB. Let’s cross our fingers for that inevitable PS5 announcement soon, eh?
Original Article: HoYoverse has been cooking, and later today we’ll get two livestreams dedicated to Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact respectively. But it’s not stopping there, as it’s also lining up some kind of Zenless Zone Zero announcement this weekend, as teased by a message on the hotly anticipated gacha’s official social media accounts.
The post doesn’t give too much away, but it confirms that something is going down on 4th November, at 4AM GMT. If you’re not sure what time that is for you, we’ve included a handy guide below:
- North America: 9pm (Fri) PDT / 10pm (Fri) MDT / 11pm (Fri) CDT / 12am EDT
- UK/Ire: 4am GMT
- Europe: 5am CET / 6am EET
- Asia/Oceania: 1pm JST / 12pm AWST / 3pm AEDT
While this could end up being nothing, our guess is that it’ll probably be some kind of beta announcement, as the title slowly lurches closer to launch. Earlier in the year, the Chinese developer confirmed that the urban RPG will be coming to consoles, with PS5 almost certain to be included following the success of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
