Tekken 8 will be here before we know it. The anticipated fighter is out on the 26th January, and if you need to refuel your hype, we'd recommend watching this highlights video from the recent Tekken 8 Evo Showcase.
The event gathered multiple Tekken 7 Evo champions together for a winner-stays-on tournament. The likes of Knee, JDCR, Saint, and the seemingly unstoppable Arslan Ash all took part, playing Tekken 8 live on stage for the first time.
Evidently, our competitors had spent a lot of time with the Tekken 8 beta tests, as they're able to pull off some crazy combos and advanced movement. All in all, the matches ended up being a perfect advertisement for the game, showing it off at a pro level. There's serious potential here, and ultimately, the fighter just looks like fantastic fun to actually play (although newcomer Azucena probably needs a nerf).

When I play against the computer and my friends I feel like a God of Tekken smashing those buttons. When I play online, I'm the guy that gets launched in the air and comes down when the fight is over.
Arslan looked stoned the whole time LOL, he was having a good time.
And it's smart to use the evo name this way, good content for the community, good marketing for the games (that makes partnerships stronger) and the brand is present more than twice per year.
@Martijn87 LOL sums up my playing experience with Tekken too 🤣
@Martijn87 Tekken really makes me feel like a hacky sack
10/10 series would live the hacky sack life again
This game does look very pretty and overall a step up from Tekken 7! Though I gotta admit, if Eddy and/or Christie are absent, it probably won't be a day one buy for me 😞
