Lawrence Sullivan, better known as "Florida Joker" for his extensive set of facial tattoos, has doubled down, posting a second video that asserts Rockstar owes him financial restitution for allegedly using his likeness in GTA 6.
In the video, Sullivan asserts that Rockstar needs to give him "like a mil or two", although from the sound and tenor of the argument, it doesn't sound like he's actually in talks with the storied developer. From what we can gather, using a person's likeness for the purpose of parody is fair game and something that Rockstar has dabbled in extensively before.
As many in the comments are quick to point out, Sullivan himself has adopted a Joker persona clearly inspired by a specific depiction of the character and almost certainly doesn't have Warner Bros. permission to use it for personal profit. Sullivan closes, reassuring us all that: "Florida Joker ain't having that. Y'all took my likeness, y'all took my life."
What do you think of Sullivan's story? What are the chances of him pulling off this heist against Rockstar? Let us know in the comments section below.

Get a job, thug
His tats are not the same atall
Yeah he has no case here because as the article says using someones likeness for parody is legal. Its why South Park and Family Guy can mock and rip celebs to hell and back and get away with it.
Pretty sure this guy doesn't have a trademark on face tattooing lol
What a weird @$%&ing world we live in.
I mean look at all of those parody movies. He has no case.
Hell, GTA in general doesn't have a unique idea amongst the entire series. It's just a game focused on using likeness across American pop culture, urban, mafia and gang stereotypes spanning decades.
And yet DC owns The Joker character, he isn't original.
Dude just wants to make bank from Rockstar by throwing a fit.
"Y'all took my life" hahaha you took your own life and threw it away. Of course you'd have your hands out.
I can imagine he is very giddy at the prospect of buying 1 mil of crack cocaine 😒
Lindsey Logan is like "first time huh?"
I don't see the likeness other than the tattoos. But I've seen similar tattoos like that on character creation in some games. Or like a skull face tattoo. Idk.
What a mung bean. I don't understand why these milingeres tattoo their faces like this thus making themselves unemployable in the process and then have the audacity to hold their entitled grubby little mitts out and demand money because a video game character looks very vaguely like you. Back to selling your ass and dime bags to support your next face tattoo. Jesus what next?
@Damage99 Who would be stupid enough to hire this degenerate? I'd pay him a salary just so he can stay away from my business
Guessing Lindsay Lohan's Lionel Hutz lawyer firm jumped on the phone promising "we've got them bang to rights this time, honest!"🙄😂
Daresay by the time Rockstar/Take-two's army of lawyers are done,it'll just be another "fictional parody"!..their lawyers are scarier than any Tommy Vercetti intimidation tactics!!😱😂 They don't often lose!
Or he could just become a non criminal member of society and work like the rest of us. But by all means sue so rockstar can countersue and bury this leech.
Also what likeness? Should DC sue him first? Is it slander if they show a criminal as a criminal?
@PinderSchloss people are not taking this seriously because no law has been broken. You can feel sorry for whoever you want of course, but very few of us are going to waste any tears over this idiot wanting to cash in.
I hope they have time to integrate this "ordeal" into the actual game. A meta twist on a real (dumb) event 😂
@PinderSchloss really?
Sorry, but the Clown Prince of Crime needs to sit back down. Rockstar’s character may be an homage, but falls in line with parody - they look nothing alike. Many of the situations are clearly parody. There’s only one that I noted in the trailer that may not be considered parody, simply because the likeness and camera angling are a bit too uncanny, but even then it wouldn’t be worth pursuing because of the likelihood of being classified parody.
I'd love to see Rockstar patent the name "Florida Joker", just to provoke him.
he went about this very wrong .. but he a knuckle head..
say hey gta i love you guys..
can i come in and do some voice work or mo cap .. maybe let me play myself in gta online..
an live off the con circuit etc...
@PinderSchloss not sure what your point is..
I'm sure someone mentioned it already but "what a joker" xD
@PinderSchloss That's not how US law works and if you make yourself out to be the butt of a joke get ready for people to mock you for it. Every single screenshot in this trailer is a parody of actual events of people in Florida.
What an absolute gonk.
Lol not happening at all
Yea, good luck with that one buddy.
Removed - offensive remarks
If people can get away with making "adult documentaries" based on some of the biggest ip's out there I highly doubt this dude is going to get much love.
The tattoos don't look even remotely similar.
You don't have a monopoly on "faces plastered with crappy ink art" my guy.
@Damage99 what's a "job thug" and how do you get one?
Get a job low life pfff
Didn't Lindsay Lohan already try this with GTA V?
