Rocksteady Studios desperately needs a hero, or a team of them, as significant spoilers for the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League run rampant everywhere gamers gather. The audacious person or persons responsible leaked the critical data following recently-held closed alpha testing, which is obviously not ideal. Video and audio of the game's biggest reveals are now out in the wild, which we won't be sharing here.
A dejected-sounding Rocksteady released a statement on Twitter, remarking that it was "very disappointing to see details being shared ahead of the game's release." Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is still a fair way out, currently slated for a 2nd February 2024 launch on PS5.
It's virtually impossible to stop the spread of information in our interconnected age, and the developer seems to know it, suggesting: "We can only urge you to try to avoid spoilers where you can. And please try not to impact the enjoyment of other players by posting spoilers."
What do you think of this latest sorry turn in the Suicide Squad saga? How will you be avoiding spoilers? Almost two full months is a pretty tall order, after all. Bury your head in the sand pit that is the comments section below.

First! Also sad to see people try to ruin other people's enjoyment of upcoming releases.
Going to ignore all comments, good thing I don't really use twitter.
I've read them and all i can say is people are not going to be happy.
Is it possible to spoil a game that no one is looking forward to in the first place?
People's reaction are gonna be fun to see
Developers don't really care about spoilers, that's all just talk that they've got to say for appearances. Spoilers are easy to avoid and if you didn't want to know anything about Suicide Squad it's not exactly difficult to avoid clicking on an article about it.
Spoiler leaks aren't a problem when no one cares enough about your game to look them up.
@NinjaNicky you're absolutely right. If you want to avoid spoilers it's very easy to not put yourself in a position where you are likely to find them, such as aimlessly trawling through gaming websites.
If a game gets spoilt by someone outside of the gaming industry that would be difficult to avoid, by things like the only happen with high profile productions that the general public would recognise. For example, I remember having the ending of The Sixth Sense spoilt by a comedian doing his routine, annoying a lot of people.
Oh no. Spoilers about a game that doesn't interest me in the slightest. What to dooo?!
Why is life so difficult?
I'd pay more for an Arkham Knight PS5 patch than I would for this
I haven't seen the leaks themselves but I've seen people's reaction to them, so here's my 2 cents as someone who was in the alpha test (and shouldn't be talking about it):
Also I disagree that it's "extremely easy to avoid spoilers" unless you're simply not on social media
@Voltan I agree. I had. I real interest in the game but I enjoyed the Alpha. To the point it’s probably a game I would pick up. Much better than Gotham knights In my opinion
Having read them.... Jesus Christ 😂
I now have a morbid curiosity finding out more and more about this dumpster fire just like when tlou2 was leaked.
Rip rocksteady, you were great while it lasted.
@BeerIsAwesome yes, I have the same problem with Match Of The Day and not wanting to know the score, but my mates are talking about the football.
Not quite the same thing as avoiding spoilers for a niche game, which is very easy, but I agree your example is annoying when it happens 😄
Wasn’t interested in this, and the leaks only fuelled that disinterest. This thing just pissed off a lot of people.
can't really relate to the concern about spoilers. I never play games day 1, so effectively every game is 100% "spoiled" by time I get to it.
One thing I don't understand that admittedly might be some etiquette of journalism above my head: Pushsquare is already drawing attention to the spoilers to many who may have not known, and they want readers to engage in a discussion that presumably might revolve around the specific nature of the spoilers; so at this point, just provide a link to the spoilers for those who are interested.
It seems like such an arbitrary line to not cross when you're publicizing it. And obviously, I can google it (and already have), but if you're already going to get involved with spreading the word, just go all the way and give people the choice.
@Ooccoo_Jr If you don't like it why would you spoil it for others. I didn't like what I saw but I'm not going to spoil it for others. The same happened to me with the Last of Us 2 because people didn't like it so they spoiled the ending on pushsquare. I really don't understand why you would do something like that.
@riceNpea I had a nice person here on the site he is still on here he spoiled the whole story of the Last of Us 2 and spammed it everywhere on all articles. He ruined the game for me I just bought it. It may be easy to avoid but I will never understand why people do this. And it's really annoying if you read it by accident.
@Voltan Yeah, everyone ***** on the game have already made up their minds before even giving it a try. I must admit, I didn’t have a ton of interest in the game but after giving the alpha a try it’s now a day one purchase.
@Ooccoo_Jr Hi, I'm "No One".
@Flaming_Kaiser what a scumbag. That's happened to me too.
@riceNpea The spoiler I had was with MGS when someone was talking about it and I asked could you please stop I have not started the game yet. He started laughing and told me the whole plot i wanted to punch him in his face. 😤🤬
