PowerWash Simulator is one of the stars of this month's PS Plus Essential line-up, but before you start the surprisingly relaxing experience of scrubbing things clean, you might want to check out the PS Store. Since release at the start of this year, the game has been well supported on PS5, PS4 with some free DLC packs themed around Square Enix titles.
You can get Final Fantasy VII and Tomb Raider expansions for free, which let you clean iconic locations such as Croft Manor and Seventh Heaven. You'll gain access to 10 new levels in total through the free DLC packs, and then there's even more if you're willing to splash the cash.
For £6.49 / $7.99 each, two more expansions based on Back to the Future and SpongeBob SquarePants can be yours. You'll then be able to give Bikini Bottom a good scrubbing as well as the DeLorean itself.
We reviewed the Midgar Special Pack for PowerWash Simulator, and found it to be another soothing reason to get the cleaning kit out. "It's not adding anything else, really, but the appeal of getting up close and personal with some of FF7's recognisable props and environments is neat in its own way. It offers up a novel new perspective on the beloved title that'll please both sides of this unique collaboration."

Thought for a moment you got to power wash Lara Croft! Eeek...
This needs a PS VR2 version!
I washed the van last night, that was probably enough for me. I did download the free dlc just b/c. My wife pointed out Tifa’s bar to my kid. She didn’t want to clean it though.😂
A frIend suggested they should do a Pulp Fiction DLC so they could clean the car with Winston Wolf, got me thinking I would like to clean the Crazy 88 club from Kill Bill.. There is definitely scope for a Tarantino movie scenes collection - with mature age rating of course.
Terrible game imo. Was excited to play this but it literally hurt my brain getting to the 2nd level. I’m done. How did this game get good reviews?? I don’t know if I’m getting old but washing a van or a yard with graphics that look 2 generations old is not my idea of fun.
@ThaBEN Yep. I’ve played the first 3 or 4 levels on Game Pass over the past year, but it’s just crap on a controller. If they brought it to PSVR2, I’d definitely give it another go.
I’ll be getting these, but still holding out for the VR mode.
The free DLC not having trophies makes me so sad 😭
Played yesterday it was fun
I have ADHD and I blinked last night and played 4 hours of this. Super satisfying and the challenge modes are actually quite a pleasant surprise. Might be my favorite PS+ game I got this year.
I tried Powerwash Simulator. It wasn't for me. I heard it was nice and therapeutic, but I found it to be a bit tedious at times. It's a lovely game, though.
Its really something thats best enjoyed with a podcast. Just like Snowrunner.
@sorteddan I think that’s DLC for “Murder Cleanup Simulator”.
If it would let me power wash the filthy pikey's back yard I have to take my wheelie bin through every other Wednesday morning I'd be all in. I don't understand how people live in such squalor 🤢.
This isn't good at all, Viscera Cleanup Detail is superior.
@Pranwell (Power) wash your mouth out now! How dare you disrespect this game!
