Atlus' new RPG, the admittedly awkwardly named Metaphor: ReFantazio, now has a release window. It arrives on PS5 and PS4 in autumn / fall next year, and frankly, we couldn't be happier that it's far away from the chaos of early 2024.
We've also got a new trailer, which provides our best look yet at the game — and as you can probably tell by the headline of this article, we think it's shaping up rather well. We've got luscious environments, a mix of action and turn-based combat, and some mad character designs.
What do you think of Metaphor? Journey to another world in the comments section below.

The game is giving me Ni No Kuni x Xenoblade vibes which is a positive, looking forward to this.
Game of the Show!
Why not say Autumn?
The trailer I needed to get fully onboard. I can't wait to see more
And it is out in the fall like a good boy 😊 the February/March nonsense is bumming me out.
The animation is beautiful.
Still not sure about the game, but i'm intrigued now. Will see after reviews.
Easily one of the highlights of the show, IMO. Kinda wild that they got it out of the way so early on, but I’m happy just the same.
@Dom_31 Well more so Ni No Kuni vibes fighting for the throne in another world, mixture of combat styles, with creatures and humans fighting along side each other. Maybe not the best comparisons lol
Looks good, I may hold off on this just in case they do a persona style full price “royal” expansion
Reminds me a bit of Shin Megami Tensei V, which should have been on PS5 years ago already.
Yeah can't wait for this game come out , day one
Glad this isn’t Xbox exclusive like the announcement trailer was stating.
Looking forward to playing this and SMTV on PS
@PinderSchloss
SMTV is coming out on PS this June as an enhanced remaster version with extra content
@Dragoon1994 Yes and I’m very excited 😊
Wow, this post was incredibly enlightening! The way you broke down the information made it simple and engaging. I gained a lot from this and will be sharing it with others who could use this valuable insight. Great job! Super4dtoto
