Earlier in the year, it was announced that PlateUp! would be heading to consoles in November. Unfortunately, this didn't happen, and the release on PS5 and PS4 was quietly delayed. Now, though, publisher Yogscast Games has a fresh release date, with the title now arriving on 15th February, 2024.
For the uninitiated, PlateUp! is an intriguing blend of co-op cooking and restaurant management, seasoned with roguelite progression. Playing alone or with pals, you start your eatery making simple dishes with basic equipment. As you earn money and become more popular, you gradually unlock better equipment and bigger restaurants, expanding your culinary empire across 15 days, or until it all gets too much to handle. It sounds like a solid idea, and it's very well-liked on Steam; it's sold over 1 million copies, with over 11,000 reviews leaving it with an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating.
As well as launching digitally on the PS Store, physical editions are also incoming. The standard and collector editions of PlateUp! will come with bonus digital goodies, while the latter will also throw in four mini-figures based on the game's player characters.

So roguelikes are becoming the defacto it thing for developers at the moment, huh?
@Yusuo not the genre itself (even though amount of rogue-like games also increased), but some mechanics.
By the way, it is not a rogue-like game, but rogue-lite - some progress persists and increases in quality / quantity after each run.
I like a good roguelite. Looking forward to checking this one out
