15 years later
Square Enix is reviving its classic Mana series with a brand new instalment — 15 whole years after its last mainline entry. Titled Visions of Mana, it's coming to PS5 and PS4 at some point in 2024. As you'd expect of the franchise, this is an action RPG with multiple playable characters, and based on the trailer, it basically looks like a modern take on the classic Mana formula.

Hyped for this. Secret of mana is a friggin classic.
If it was 2D, I might actually get some enjoyment out of it. Oh, well.
I am considering preordering this one for sure. While 2024 is looking to be lighter in terms of games that interest me, that’s ok… because 2024 looks to be a big year for JRPGs. If JRPGs are on the menu, I’m happy to have fewer distractions.

Trials of Mana Remake was my first trials game and I loved it, so I am very much looking forward to this one.
Beautiful game, but after the pain of trying to keep my computer controlled party members alive (to no avail) in the boss battles of Trials of Mana, I hope that SE comes up with better AI for this one.

This looks INCREDIBLE. Day one, don't even need to see anything else. I'll buy it just to roam around in those gorgeous environments.
I"m so excited for this. I was worried that this was going to be a gacha mobile game but I'm glad it's a proper JRPG. I grew up with Legend of Mana and while it's not the best in the series, it's the Mana game I remember fondly and replay countless of times. I hope I get to enjoy this just as much as LoM
