Ah, we were wondering when Sand Land would get a release date. We'd have bet on it aiming for the summer months, but it's actually launching a bit sooner, on the 26th April. Yep, it's time to add yet another Japanese game to the early 2024 release schedule!
This PS5 and PS4 action adventure has looked quite promising in all of the gameplay that we've seen up until this point. Sand Land is based on a one-shot manga of the same name by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, and plops you in the pointed shoes of a demon named Beelzebub, as he traverses a water-starved world and fights against a tyrannical military organisation.
The game itself sees you engage in over-the-top melee combat as well as vehicular battles as you explore the wasteland. We'll no doubt be seeing much more of it in the coming weeks.
Are you looking forward to Sand Land? Tell us if you're already feeling thirsty in the comments section below.

Waiting for reviews on this but I’m cautiously optimistic. Love the Akira art style and world building. Looks cool in UE5 too
And 2024 gets even better, really looking forward to this and hopefully SynDuality Echo of Ada isn't far behind.
I like the IP and love Toriyama’s art, but I really have no idea what to think of this game at this point other than that it will be coming soon enough.
Almost forgot about this one. Looks fun and unique but I’m gonna wait on reviews for this.
No idea about the gameplay, but the Akira Toriyama design work would definitely be an enjoyable feature. I think the series this is based on is coming to streaming soon also, so I'll be on the lookout for both.
