Arranger is a newly announced indie game coming to PS5 later this year, and it looks like a wonderfully fresh idea. Playing as a girl named Jemma, the game presents itself as a grid-based, top-down RPG — but the twist is that our protagonist's movements move all tiles and objects on the same axis, like a sliding puzzle.
You'll need to use this unique ability to overcome obstacles, help out characters in need, and even engage in combat. It looks like a really clever conceit that'll lead to some tricky areas. The game is the debut project from a new studio, and the staff has some solid credits; the artist on the game previously worked on Braid, and the writer of Carto has penned the story.
It's coming to PS5 in the Summer of 2024, with no exact date as yet. Still, what do you think of it? Will you be playing Arranger? Let us know in the comments section below.

Of all the games in the Nintendo Direct coming to PS5, of which there were a bunch, this is the only one that I think might look as good on Switch as on PS5.
Too bad Endless Ocean is stuck on Switch, it’s so Wii looking. Maybe Switch 2 will at least get close to PS4 Pro.
Interesting! Adding it to the endless wishlist.
