We are truly living in blessed times. Konami’s ultra-rate – and ultra-expensive – GBA side-scroller Ninja Five-O is coming to PS5 and PS4, courtesy of Limited Run Games’ loveable Carbon Engine. Originally released in 2003 by Konami, the title – known as Ninja Cop in Europe – sees you working your way through 20 increasingly challenging stages, using stealth, magic, and swords to progress.
The release – developed by Hudson Soft – never launched in Japan, but is considered something of a cult classic and is one of the most sought-after cartridges in any GBA collector’s catalogue. This being a Limited Run Games joint, you can expect physical editions on both PS5 and PS4, with more details to be revealed nearer to release.

I've never even heard of this title before.
It's an interesting choice because while it's a very fun game and worth checking out if you're a fan of the GBA it's also one most people wouldn't know/care about. So I can't help but wonder why. But I'm glad that Konami has remembered that it used to make games and not just pachinko machines.
This is a very good GBA game! It's alot like Ninja Gaiden or Shinobi. I'd call it a hidden gem for sure! I'll definitely check out this new version.
@Truegamer79 looks a bit like castlevania in an animation sense. But otherwise, sadly I have still my backlog of shame looking at me winking so I better take a look there....
Article says this game is ultra expensive but doesn’t give average sale prices out there
Oh, I was playing this the other day after checking out some other ninja related titles. Seemed alright.
Played a lot of GBA games but never heard of this one. Looks kinda like Shinobi with a Metroid feel. Interesting.
