Fans anticipating Unicorn Overlord, the gorgeous-looking tactical RPG from Vanillaware and Atlus, can dive into it now, as the game's demo is officially available on PS5 and PS4, following 24 hours of exclusivity on Nintendo Switch. The best part? Progress made will carry over to the full game, allowing you to get a headstart on the action ahead of its 8th March launch.
From the developers of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Odin Sphere, Unicorn Overlord leans far further into the tactical side of combat than previous efforts. Players will form armies of troops bolstered by mythical creatures and engage in large-scale, stunningly animated engagements. Positioning is everything, and players can claim victory by seizing objectives, defeating specific characters, or gaining an advantage over the enemy by capturing the high ground. With combat happening in real-time, the pressure will be on to act first and seize the initiative, a refreshing change from the genre's usual turn-based fare.

@Drago201 good to hear been looking at this weren't sure what to think🤣 think il give it a go tonight 🙂
These games are too vanilla for my taste
Couldn't wait! Completed the demo on the Switch even though my main playthrough will be on PS5. I'm glad I'll be able to start over now that I understand the mechanics a little better. Already so many options of recruit/don't recruit or kill/don't kill for potential allies/ennemies! I expect there will be multiple endings. Overall, I enjoyed the demo very much and it confirmed my decision to purchase the game.
I actually love the title of this game. It looks to be a solid game too, but just wanted to give props to the name “Unicorn Overlord” 😄
Tried on switch, will play on PS5 - Too many great games! 🥵
I'll buy it regardless. I love VW
