Japanese clothing chain Uniqlo loves a good anime or video game shirt, and it’s been absolutely killing it with its latest collections. Earlier this year, it launched the Fighting Game Legends line, which comprises tees inspired by both the Tekken and Street Fighter franchises. There are some fantastic designs, including a low-poly King from Tekken 2 which we reckon is incredible:
Those of you who play Street Fighter 6 can actually redeem some of these shirts in-game right now; all you need to do is login during the promotional period and claim the rewards from your inbox. Obviously, the shirts can only be worn by your World Tour avatar, but we reckon they look great:
And the fun doesn’t end there: in April, the retailer will release a brand-new line of 40th Anniversary Capcom tees, including fan favourites like Final Fight, Resident Evil 4, Devil May Cry, and more. Check out these beauties:
If all that wasn’t enough, the company’s brought back some of its Metal Gear Solid designs from its archives, and you can find those shirts in most of its stores right now. So yeah, there’s never really been a better time to expand your wardrobe with some great gaming tees, eh? Let’s hope the PlayStation designs come back soon, too.

Some very nice shirts here. I want a few of these.
It's just a shame the fit on their UT line is awful. I have a couple of their SF and Final Fantasy ones but I only wear them as indoor tees. They're so baggy. I'm not one for fitted tees, but I do like mine to have a bit of structure and shape. Their cheapest line of plain tees are much better. I don't know why these are cut the way they are.
Problem is where I live they're so common. The anime and Marvel ones are everywhere whenever a new collection comes out.
@TheIdleCritic agreed with you. Nice print but cutting is bad. Small is way too short, big is way too baggy.
The blue megaman and the white street fighter is dope.
"...can actually redeem some of these ***** in-game right now..."
Nah, I'm grand.
I can redeem what in game? I guess Street Fighter refers to the streets of San Francisco.
That typo is so good I’d honestly rather it was left for posterity.
@MacBlayne @Loamy @Kachiun No idea what any of you are talking about!
Can anyone comment on the boohoomen stuff? they have great designs, however I hear their quality is Ubisoft AAAA
@TheIdleCritic
Maybe because the shirt sizes are made for japanese people?
Is that monster hunter on the 3rd picture? Cant see it clearly
@BansheeNorn Uniqlo is an international business and has western models, and as I stated before I religiously buy their regular colour tees and the fit is great. It's got nothing to do with demographic. The UT tees are just cut to be baggy and ill fitting and I don't know why.
If anything, if the sizes were for Japanese people they'd be smaller/tighter, not larger.
