13 New Games Land on PS Plus Extra, Premium Next Week

Really weird how they haven't added Daxter.

Midnight Suns is the highlight but I’ve had it forever so not much to see here for me at least.

Excellent month for me! Been meaning to check out Midnight Suns and Ace Attorney. Plus some nostalgia for Cool Boarders (but, c'mon why not Cool Boarders 3?)

Perfect! I was tempted to pick up Midnight Suns a couple weeks ago and decided to wait. I had an inkling it might be a PS+ game soon.

Nothing really for me this month but at the end of January, I did get 12 months of PS Extra for the price of Essential so anything I do get is Essentially (pun intended) a bonus

Hell yeah, I've been assuming Midnight Suns would be coming and have put off buying it multiple times! Might try RE3 also.

Well, that's nothing for me. Although Resident Evil 3 could be great, of course.

I absolutely love Midnight suns it’s still one of my favourite games I’ve played on PS5 I still have yet to get and go through the dlc’s

Oooooh wasn’t expecting Lost Frontier only Jak and Daxter game missing now is Daxter then we have the whole series on PS4/PS5 still wish they gave Jak and Daxter current gen remasters though

Ace attorney trilogy most definitely. Excellent Portal gaming.
I’ll likely play neptunia rpg too. Although the censored stills will annoy me, I can still play it as long as know I’ve only given them an extremely cut price fee via plus.
Will likely boot Cool Boaders up for the nostalgia too.

Downgraded to essential when my premium sub lapsed in February. Was planning to upgrade to extra if dead island 2 came but alas, buncha rubbish. The problem with ps plus tiers is that they routinely add games that have been pretty much either beaten by people that have been day one owners of ps5, or are ports of ps4 games that again have been beaten. Either that or they don’t appeal, which makes it very low value. To each their own, glad some folks are getting enjoyment but it’s amusing how the more expensive tiers are effectively punishments for the most dedicated users.

Better on the premium side but overall meh.

Midnight suns is fantastic, I finished the main campaign of it with 60 hours of playtime. I still have lots to do more main game wise and there’s the four dlc’s I still have yet to go through as well.
It’s easily one of my favourite games I’ve played on PS5 so far

Objectively, not the worst month, but nothing that I was super eager to play. No regrets letting my subscription lapse, then.

Pretty neat! I barely started RE3 on the laptop which I seldom take outside these days, so I can see myself playing through the game here where RE2 was doubtful for a whole "Leon A" playthrough to have to retrace. Midnight Suns is also something to try, especially after Firaxis bailed out on a Switch port (because a tactical RPG with a few alleged FE3H flavours like this definitely wouldn't have any chance of extra sales on portable hardware🙄😏). For that matter, much of the rest loses its headturner value to respective Switch versions as well but should offer plenty of fun playtime if you're PlayStation-focused as many here might well be.

The only questionable value item is God Eater Burst - a highly recommendable monster hunting game I biasedly rank above Capcom's subgenre maker itself, but buying its sequel's PS4 remake will also bundle you this game's yet more polished and complete Resurrection version that (as in, Resurrection alone, not GE2RB) is even cross-buy with Vita for good measure.

Pretty solid month there for me and a reason to keep subbed to premium for the second month in a row.

Looking forward to Midnight Sun's, Ace Attorney, Super Neptunia RPG, DBZ Kakarot and God Eater Burst which hopefully has trophy support.

@Bentleyma It started life at Naughty Dog as a PS3 game, but was given to High Impact Games and retooled for PS2 and PSP.

Not a bad lineup. I might hop into NBA 2K24. The highlight this month has to be Jak and Daxter The Lost Frontier. Resident Evil 3 is also a great addition, though I've already platinumed it....twice.

Not much for me this time, only RE3. But that doesn't matter. Way too busy with Ff7 Rebirth.

Was actually considering buying Dragon Ball Z Kakarot after Toriyama's death but with the PS5 version coming to Extra that won't be needed. I'll give it a go around May when game releases slow down. FF7 Rebirth, Unicorn Overlord, Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade are gonna keep me busy

I'm that guy that bought Midnight Suns last week, but a used disc at least. Played a few hours last night. Looks like it's a super addition!

NBA 2K is to PS Plus what MLB is to Game pass, only not quite day one.
A bit slim pickings this month (wasn't Lego DC on PS Plus a while back?) but I will play RE3 and possibly Midnight suns as I have heard that is good.

A great month for me personally. I've waited for Midnight Suns to hit ps plus and the Blood Bowl games are great fun. I'm also interested in Kakarot and will never turn down a couple of matches in NBA 2K.

Not a bad month at all, some decent games there.

Gods Eater Burst is a big surprise, being the PSP entry that already has an expanded PS4 port (God Eater Resurrection). I might dip back into Lost Frontier, it's a decent Jak game, and a peek at what could have been if the series kept going.

I loved Cool Boarders 2 back in the day. Me and my buddies used to play it all the time. We used to love 1080 on the n64 aswell

Will give DBZ: Kakarot a go from this months selection when I have some spare time, seems fitting, happy with that.

I was very excited about Blood Bowl 3 but the release conditions weren't the best so I didn't buy it and this is a good chance to actually play it, also a good chance to see what is Ace Attorney all about. Good month.

Mystic Pillars looks pretty cool, I'm always up for a decent puzzle game

This is why I don't buy games anymore. If I just wait then odds are it'll get added to either this service or Gamepass eventually.

There’s not much that interests me, but it’s still a solid month! I’ll definitely add Marvel Midnight Suns to my download list, though.

Man, once my Extra subscription runs out that’s it, never again. For new players it’s amazing but for zero, close to zero value.

I’m playing through RE2 now so it’ll be nice to put 3 in the backlog. By the time I’m done with those I’m sure 4 will be added to extra 😆

The timing on them adding Kakarot is impeccable. I'm sure the additions are planned out a few months in advance at least.

Can Sony convince Capcom to add PS1 RE2 and 3 already? They're conspicuously absent.

Awesome! I just put Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (PS5), on my wishlist yesterday and then today it went on sale and now this announcement! 😂

Was waiting for RE3 to hit PS+ so I'm glad about that one.
Other than that I might have a go at the Phoenix Wright Trilogy.
The rest of the additions are pretty bad imo.

Definitely dropping down to Essential at most - might even just let it lapse in December.

For once it seems like PS Plus Premium has some worth! Been subbed to Plus Extra ever since December 2022 and I've never seen any title added to Premium that has enticed me until now. Shame about all those good titles that are going to leave Extra on March 19th. I'll need to pick up Haven and Outer Wilds while they're on sale.

@TBubs311 DBZ Kakarot was already on Extra, but just the PS4 version. They are going to add the PS5 version now.

Overall not bad. Kakarot, Gods Eater and Super Neptunia are maybes for me.

Still don't think that premium is worth it for me though.
