Capcom has released the first trailer for Street Fighter 6’s upcoming DLC addition, Akuma. While there’s no date attached to the new challenger just yet, he’ll wrap up the Year 1 Pass for Capcom’s critically acclaimed brawler, which means fresh DLC teases will follow thereafter. “Stay tuned later this year for captivating announcements on Year 2 content and potentially even some fun events coming to the Battle Hub,” a press release points out.

There’s not an enormous amount to glean from this debut trailer, but we do like the iconic character’s look, with his shaggy white hair forming a striking mane around his furrowed face. We imagine gameplay demonstrations will follow, but for now, consider this a welcome introduction to the returning rival.
