The First Berserker: Khazan just got a fresh gameplay trailer, and although it doesn't really offer up anything new, we do get a slightly better look at this bloody brawler.
Set in the world of Dungeon Fighter Online — just like 2022's DNF Duel — The First Berserker describes itself as a "single-player hardcore action RPG". The above footage gives us a glimpse of an intimidating boss battle, and even though the frame rate is clearly still a work in progress, the game does look nice, visually.
What do you make of The First Berserker? Wonder who or what Khazan is in the comments section below.

Looks about 15fps
So are all the fights one-on-one or was that just to make the trailer more cinematic?
Its 5 fps if they're not one-on-one
And here comes another awesome looking game but all anybody will discuss is the frame rate.
It terms of art design it looks great, but it looked very PS4 to me.
Mind you, I watched it in the show streaming, maybe the video will be better?
Edit, not really any better. All the geometry is in the characters, the world is very low res and there are huge texture resolution mismatches.
It might be a good time for souls like fans though...
I liked most of what I saw but that frame rate is horrendous and a deal breaker if it doesn't get fixed.
Think I will.wait for this on plus or ea play when the offer comes on again
@Northern_munkey Haters gonna hate.
Maybe it's just me but the cartoony face design of the main character feels off when the world itself is trying to be 'realistic'. And yeah, the fps is concerning.
Otherwise it looks cool, I'm keeping an eye out on this one
No release date means I don’t even care to bother with the fps/gameplay debate. It’s what, the fourth or fifth time this game has been shown? Still, looks like a ps plus title or a discount one. Can’t tell what the overall gameplay loop is aside from “dark and gritty fights.”
Now that looks good 🔥
Definitely gonna keep my eye on this one
The sound of steel, crunching bones, squishing organs, and squirting blood.
@matekomlosi : You are not alone feeling that. For me it just feels like the dev team took a DFO character (whose origin of game is generally a very colorful and lively world) and just put them in a generic 'dark and gritty' settning that is trying too hard to be realistic.
