You’ll also be able to compete in various other iconic events, like the ongoing Indian Wells. In all, there’ll be a total of 48 courts in the game, including 15 real-life venues. In addition to that, there’ll be over 24 playable pros in the final release, including current stars like Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Świątek, Frances Tiafoe, as well as sporting icons like Roger Federer and Serena Williams – the two of whom will be on the cover.
A training mode named TopSpin Academy will be hosted by John McEnroe, while you’ll be able to test your MyPLAYER both offline in World Tour and online in 2K Tour, which will feature full crossplay across all platforms.
Pre-orders, available from today, will all come bundled with the Under the Lights pack, which includes alternative outfits for Serena Williams and Roger Federer, the Wilson Nightfall Bundle, and Night-Time Majors. The Deluxe Edition will also bundle in a bunch of additional costumes, a MyPLAYER Boost, and 1,700 VC – so expect the same controversial levelling system from NBA 2K24.
Meanwhile, the Grand Slam Edition will come with all of the above, in addition to the All Access Pass, which includes six post-launch Premium Centre Court Pass Seasons, as well as eight bonus cosmetic items. While more information is due to follow through to launch, the Premium Centre Court Pass Seasons sound a lot like Battle Passes to us.
We were lucky enough to go hands on with the title last week, and you can read our TopSpin 2K25 PS5 preview through the link.
