Bandai Namco has uploaded a surprise Sand Land demo to the PS Store that allows you to sample a small portion of the upcoming PS5, PS4 game ahead of release next month. Available to download now, the demo gives you access to "a limited portion of the Sand Land map", which you can explore devoid of story content. Beelzebub, Rao, and Thief are all playable, and you can take the tank and the motorcycle for a ride. See it all in the demo trailer above.
For playing the demo, you'll also earn some rewards for use in the full game. Keep the save data on your PS5, PS4 box when starting up a new game to earn 30 B-grade steel and 30 B-grade bolt to get an early leg up on upgrading vehicles.
Your progress won't transfer to the full game come 26th April 2024, but this is still a good way to get a taste of what Bandai Namco has planned for the world created by the late Akira Toriyama. Will you give it a go? Let us know in the comments below.

Toriyama-san, I will send you my energy by playing this demo.
Starting to get burned out by Rebirth, just finished downloading this and am about to try it out
Got a Dragon Quest vibe, or I just don't know the source material. Feel free to educate and/or ridicule me.
I think I should reread the manga for nostalgia sake. I’ll try out this demo too.
Will try the demo later today. Looking forward to the Sand Land anime releasing on the 20th as well.
Will try this game to honor Toriyama!
The anime is also coming soon right?
The demo seemed pretty good. I have 9 days off work at the end of April to play Stellar Blade, so I'll probably end up grabbing this and playing through it while I'm off as well.
I will try the demo ASAP, will also watch the upcoming anime.
I remember reading the original one-shot manga somewhere in the late 2000s or early 2010s, I will honor Toriyama by re-reading it again.
Tried it for a while and it’s absolutely dreadful. Deleted.
