The surprisingly well-received TV adaptation of Twisted Metal has only been (officially) watchable in the USA for about eight months. That's changing from today, though, as the action comedy is now available to stream in the UK.
Those with a subscription to Paramount+ will be able to watch the whole first season of the show, which follows John Doe (Anthony Mackie) who's charged with delivering a mysterious package across a perilous wasteland. We rather enjoyed the show when it debuted last year.
Season one did well enough to get the go-ahead for a second set of episodes, which will introduce more classic characters from the series like Calypso and Axel.
Have you been waiting to watch Twisted Metal in the UK? Will you be checking it out now it's available? Rev those engines in the comments section below.

@Ajfennell77 Does paramount still only stream in HD in the UK?
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk if you have sky stream or glass I think it's uhd
Saw it months ago. Never played the game, but the series was fun.
I watched it on HBO Max some months ago, it's pretty good
I quite enjoyed this one. Looking forward to season 2.
@Quintumply I believe it launched in New Zealand at the same time as the US, officially on the TVNZ+ website. https://www.tvnz.co.nz/shows/twisted-metal
We get a lot of stuff launched at the same time as the US. Not in the same pudding bowl, but I think we (NZ) may have been the first (or close) country to launch Alex Rider too, because Sony Pictures Television produced it, then shopped it out and TVNZ was pretty quick in buying the streaming and broadcast rights for NZ.
So they made this show but canceled the game?
Cool! where’s the game that made this series ?
@Sequel sony is all about movies and interactive movies now
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk Its HD only at the moment but they are introducing 4K later this year, finally.
Didn't think I was going to like it but binged 5 episodes last night and love it.
@Craigus champion……… its a bit of a joke we’ve had to wait so long to get 4K
Binged the whole series today, me and the Mrs really enjoyed it
