Update: It appears the PS Store jumped the gun somewhat, as it's now been confirmed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will join EA Play on Thursday, 25th April 2024. Active members will be able to download and play the full game then.
Original Story: One of 2023's greatest action-adventure games, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is flagged as part of the EA Play subscription service as of today, meaning active members can download and play it without charge. EA itself hasn't yet shared any official news about the addition, but you can go on over to the PS Store and see it labelled as "included with EA Play".
Its inclusion follows news of an upcoming price increase for the membership across both its monthly and yearly payment options. From 10th May 2024, a monthly subscription will rise from £3.99 / $4.99 to £5.99 / $5.99 while the 12-month commitment comes out at £34.99 / $39.99 — a £15 / $10 increase.
Released for PS5 in April 2023, we awarded a 9/10 rating in our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor review. The game "does what any successful sequel should do: it expands on the foundations of the first game and does everything better," we said. "Combat is just as enjoyable and offers more options, exploration is on a whole other level, and the Metroidvania elements make for engaging puzzles and satisfying rewards."

Strictly one year after release - I wish Sony had such consistency with PS Plus.
I will glady play this for £5.99. Nice.
@Vovander yeah i wish sony had a consistant time span in which they add their games to ps+ extra be it a year, 2 years, 3 years.
spiderman and last of us 2 still arnt on there years later
I really hate this game is 150gb in size as its one i would have liked to keep downloaded.
@trev666 if I remember correctly spider-man was on there but was taken of the service last year
@Paulbuck28 yes it was and last of us 2 had been on psnow but why remove your own games from your own sub service years after release
@trev666 so you would potentially buy it. There is no need them to give that game for "free", when TV Show hype brings in buyers for that title.
I'll play this free with Game Pass then.
awesome I've been keeping an eye on this one I'll sub for a month to play it. gonna wait til May it'll give me some time to finish up P3 Reload 👍
@Logonogo
Did you mean to say May? We are near the end of April now
@Dragoon1994 lol I did yeah thank you
Also coming to GamePass at no additional cost.
This is really good news for gamers like me that enjoy the benefits of having multiple systems.
@Logonogo
No worries. I’m still working my through P3 Reload along with VII rebirth.
I played through Jedi Survivor last year, it improves on Jedi Fallen order in every way, as much as I loved Fallen Order Survivor is better in very possible way
I have checked on Xbox, ps5 and PC and it's not on any of them EA play wise?
@DennisReynolds ouch, really 150g? Jeez, so much for the ssd being such a boon, plus it doesn't really stream like they said it would, its much slower than even ddr4 ram, which i wish they would add like 16g ddr4 to ps5, it would help a lot with some ports of heavy pc games like strategy, building/management games.
For very little cost, maybe 20 bucks.
The game is good, but it runs so poorly on PS5. I hope someday they learn how to optimize their games.
I find it weird how the media treat Jedi Survivor as a good game while it runs so poorly while DD2 is so criticized for its performance and is not as bad as Jedi Survivor.
@Jtheripper The PS5 SSD is one of the fastest drives out there and was the fastest drive on its release. Look at Spider-Man 2 or the Final Fantasy PS5 games you can't any faster then that. Jedi Survivor being so big isn't a SSD issue its a Respawn issue, there's no reason it should be so big.
@Vault_Mcfly Jedi Survivor runs at a solid 60fps now on PS5 and no DD2 does not run better then JS, JS could actually hit 60fps sometimes on launch something DD2 just cannot do and its 30fps mode is way more stable then DD2.
Damn I thought I got a good deal at half price. Haven’t even “unwrapped” it yet
I've been waiting to play this. And 6 bucks to do so is a damn good deal.
@DennisReynolds I played on my PS5, the game runs at 60fps, but the image quality is one of the worst I've seen.
Stop defending bad optimization, this need to stop.
