Atlus has shared another Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance trailer focusing entirely on the new story branch featured in the expanded PS5, PS4 re-release. Also releasing for Xbox systems and Nintendo Switch, you can see exactly what the fresh content has to offer over the original release in the trailer above. An expanded plot and new allies are teased, all of which are set to feature in reportedly "75 hours" of new content.
To coincide with the trailer drop, other outlets have been posting their hands on impressions of SMT V: Vengeance from a recent preview event. TheGamer wrote: "Vengeance feels like a true upgrade from Shin Megami Tensei 5’s roots. The new content makes it an attractive prospect for veterans of the original incarnation and the heightened accessibility is sure to draw newbies into the darkness that is SMT."
Meanwhile, VGC said: "Despite the visual touch up, SMT V still feels ostensibly like a game that was built for a handheld, and while it’s unlikely to be SMT's Persona 5 moment, Vengeance is still shaping up to be a brilliant RPG to lose yourself in during the wait for October's Metaphor: ReFantazio."
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance releases for PS5, PS4 on 14th June 2024, leaving you one week to finish it before Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree takes over. Will you be prioritising the Atlus JRPG over anything else in June? Share your plans in the comments below.

Ok, How long am I going to be playing this game for? Atlus games are like a full-time job for me right now.
Wooooooo, can’t wait for this one! I missed out on the switch release. I already preordered it on my Xbox. June can’t come any sooner.
@MikeOrator Same, I love SMTV and would really like to play it again, but my backlog is so huge. SMTV took me 100 hours to finish ..
So SMT V in June and Trails Through Daybreak the following month eh? I've only recently gotten hooked on FFXIV. Don't know how I'm gonna juggle these games lol
